pie_and_a_pint
Goan Fish Curry was, as usual, immensely good. Best breakfast award goes to the tapas place near the entrance to West Holts - less than £6 for freshly cooked chorizo, egg, potatoes, tomato and spinach. Absolutely delicious. howlin_pete
Another vote for the meze place in the Park, best food all festival (might have also been the fact I hadn't eaten for 24 hours). Also had a great smoked paprika chili from the Greenfields on Sunday. Not the biggest portion for £7, but damn tasty and filled me up
Craig_G
I was looking for the goat curry place as it was on my to-do list this year. shame I couldn't find it.

coma girl
Forgot to mention the lovely bubble and squeake place at the entrance to the Park, big portions and delicious!
Splatt
I loved the mac and cheese from Avalon Cafe.
milly16
I found myself everyday at the Farmers Market in Greenpeace. Lyndas loafs for my cake and tea Then a bit further down was the Veggie haggis with mushrooms and onions, halloumi, potato and a tomato relish. Really good food. OBface
Manna Asian Street food was amazing, especially the Cambodian chilli pork. Would have happily paid twice the amount it cost (£7 from memory).
joy114
So much delicious food, I could quite happily just have gone to eat! From memory great places were Permaculture cafe - tortilla with refried beans massive portion for a fiver Pakora Palace, next to permaculture - £2 a portion La Choza, next to Rum Shack - Long queue but amazing food, £7.50 for a pulled pork burrito Toasted sandwich place in Farmers Market Nurses cordials in Farmers Market, just add vodka Goan Fish Curry Went to gumbo stall in WG but the queue wasn't moving so went to the South Indian Street Food opposite, really good veggie dosa for £6.50 Cake stall next to Cockmill bar Chorizo pizza from wood fired place in WG Pie from Baranby Sykes We did share a lot of our meals so that we could try more food! nicktrow
Most interesting meal of the festival though has to have been the "Monkey Gland" from BunnyChow…I'll upload a picture at some stage, but basically, it was a hollowed out bread ball, filled with meatballs, tomato sauce and salady bits…bloody marvellous! windy_miller
Not sure why but I was pretty unadventurous this year. The hog roast near the Hell stage was bloody good though.
gorfield
the lamb wrap and sexy chips and bhajis near the bridge from silver hayes to john peel. best tenner I spent all weekend.
eFestivals
Finally got myself to the goan fish curry place -amazing huge fish curry, loads of rice, and a bit of the other curry - caldine- on the rice too. Stupendous and authentic tasting.it's nowt like the fish curries I've had in Goa, I can tell you. I don't get why people rave about this place. It's OK food, I'm not slagging it as dreadful or anything. But it's only OK.
The 38 year old virgin
I was feeling rough as a badgers arse on the Thursday and the first thing I ate 5pmish was the leek and potato soup from Williams green. It felt like ambrosia, and gave me my Sasha dancing shoes. The rotisserie chicken and new pots also from WG was stupendous
Mr.Tease
No bones Jones has been there for ages and is still very delicious and good value- I think £7 for a plate of food with a veg curry, a three bean stew, rice and some fritters. It's between Williams green and west Holts Edited July 4, 2014 by Mr.Tease

Brave Sir Robin
This thread has given me the post-Glasto blues more than anything else! Le Grand Bouffe (with double sausage) and a pulled pork bap from the Beat Hotel were my culinary highlights (a quesadilla in the Park an honourable mention) but I didn't eat nearly enough good stuff

joy114
I forgot Greek Expectations - Sausage and Halloumi in a baguette for £6. Think I should change my user name to fatknacker
Cheesey
Had some chips + garlic mayo from the chunky chip stall in Shangri-La at about 05:00 on Sunday morning, and I think they were the best chips I've ever tasted. I was in a bit of a state though. Also had an awesome enormous mexican wrap from some place near the blue cow milkshake stall, not far from the kidz field. As usual, the Shaken Udder milkshakes were incredible, and the shakes from their rival mentioned above weren't bad either. Biggest rip-off for me was sausage and mash from a little place near the Other stage. £8.50 for two sausages and a spoonful of mash, in a tiny box which made it almost impossible to eat without covering yourself in gravy. MoilyX
The best thing I had all weekend was the Rivelino from the pizza place in William's Green. Bloody messy to eat though! Their pepperoni offering was decent too.
bush
Had some african lamb and goats cheese dish from next door to the goan curry place. Very nice. Lovely waitress ta boot.
Mouseboy11
Did anyone get something from the Grillstock tent? I'm sure it was up in Leftfield on Wednesday and I got a lovely spicey BBQ hog roast but couldn't find it again! Dog Burger
This year's winners were No Bones Jones (again), Yam The Cassava and The Kasbah (I think that's what it was called - tagine place near Other Stage).
