Advise needed please.

I have just got delivered some new trousers and both have button fly (I forgot to check when ordering). I like them and want to keep them but cannot suss out how the flip you do them up without hurting fingers and looking like a complete fool.

Any tips?

Start from the bottom and work your way up - sounds almost as ridiculous as the question but when you zip you tend to do the top button up first which doesn't work with a button fly.

Thank you for the tip - I am getting there... practise will make perfect though I am not ready for a public performance (gents loos) just yet!

They are rubbish after a few pints. Finger coordination goes right out the window.

Had a fun day in the end today. Had planned a shopping trip with the little'un, but it was hammering down when we would've been going out. Can't manage a buggy with one hand and a brolly with the other when it's as breezy as it has been! Anyway, sacrifice made, and once the r@#n had stopped we went out to jump in puddles. Expecting white stuff tomorrow, so if it settles there'll be another opportunity for outdoor winter fun!

Turning in for the night now with a book and a rumbling cat. Night all!
