So so sorry for my absence the last few days. Had too much bad news to contemplate... I am so looking forward to 8pm tomorrow night... Getting In The car and starting the journey. Bags are packed and not too heavy for a change.

On a different note, I feel a little bit teary tonight, it's like the end of an era ( tho I know it's not and NFR NFC will be a part of my life forever). I absolutely love you guys and guyesses. Can't wait to meet you gorgeous people!! Much love and hugs to those that need it right now... Mainly Slodge! x

There are so many lovely people on here it's the one place that true Glastonbury spirit is alive and well throughout the year, it's a haven of peace and harmony where people are there to lift you when things are not going well and friends for life are made.

When we leave like you all of life's problems will be left on the doorstep and 5 days of happiness and fun will be had.

Si that was lovely. Thank you!! You are right, 5 days of escapism is almost there. I feel the same. The people on here are just perfect. I love them all yet never met them. Trying to explain that to outsiders is nigh on impossible. So looking forward to meeting you all. Thanx for accepting me into the NFR NFC world. Goodnight Slodge and goodnight to the peeps.

And the sun is out so brightly this morning over the site. The roads and paths are dusty and bone dry. It's getting busy at the entrance to red gate with hordes of caravans and trade vans arriving.

 

If anyone wants a pint in the Crown at Pilton tonight we'll see you there, otherwise be careful out there and see you on wed/thurs.

I can honestly say its been an utter pleasure to talk to you all over the past few months and i really cant wait to meet you all, Cg hit the nail on the head, its so hard to explain to friends how much of a cracking bunch of super helpful people you really are!

 

Its an honor to have chatted with everyone and i wish every last one of you the most perfect Glastonbury you can have.

 

I,m here until Wed 5pm roughly so i,ll keep up the praising of the big fellas upstairs as much as i can!
