late to this one but i think i might have been that guy in the lc! t-shirt, should have chimed in! like everyone has said, it's like los camp fans exist in this space where you just get on with anyone you spot wearing one of their t-shirts, and it seems to have happened to me more at glastonbury than anywhere else. i'd love to see them play at glastonbury, i'm missing their december shows this year which is a real bummer.

Just noticed Two Door Cinema Club will have an album out before next summer according to snippets of news.

Not my kind of thing but they'll definitely get a big slot if they play.

Might even get a subbing spot on the Pyramid after the popularity of their last appearance

Headlined Latitude this year and are only going to get more popular when the new album is released so i'd say they could sub pyramid

Aye, I can see Two Door Cinema Club subbing the odd festival next year. Good. I quite like them, and they've got good songs for a big setting like that.

To be fair I saw them at Electric Picnic last year after Bjork, who was superb, and they weren't the worst

They literally couldn't have made it more horrible, I can't work out which bit of it is the worst, I think it's the fact that one leg is in front of the text and the other is behind.

I like them, but can understand why people dont.

I guess it can seem a bit too earnest and pretentious. They dont seem to have much fun at all. And the lead singer is a helmet.

Alt-J aren't boring and samey, but they are extremely overhyped which has intensified certain types of people's dislike of them. The fact that Pitchfork has not given them the best of reviews has probably increased this too. I don't think the likes of Alt-J have filled the void of the likes of Keane and the Fratellis, that's just a really bad comment.

Alt-j s biggest issue is that they have been overhyped. Wouldnt describe them as run of the mill indie though - especially the new album. I guess people making those assumptions haven't actually listened to it?

Two Door Cinema club are an enjoyable pop band - not at all challenging, but catchy songs and harmless enough. Solid live, if a bit samey.

Imagine they'll both have big positions on the lineup next year.
