Good news indeed. Probably marginally increases the likelyhood of other big dance acts in high profile slots as well - chemical brothers, underworld, justice etc

I have no doubt it'd be nice for her but you could say the same thing about Jake Bugg joining Rolling Stones onstage.

Deadmau5 vs Prydz... I personally think it would be mega on the other stage. I just don't know if they are big enough.

If not on the Other then maybe West Holts (which I doubt would happen). None of the Silver Hayes stages would be big enough. Been saying it for a couple years now, electronic music needs a dedicated outdoor stage at the festival to accommodate acts not quite popular enough for the Other Stage but big enough to seriously overcrowd Sonic Stage to the point of either being crushed to death, not being able to hear the music or just as bad, being stuck between Blues, Gully and Sonic with some terrible soundbleed.

That DM v EP set at Hard Day of the Dead was fantastic

Agreed, it seems like there's this huge gap between Other and Sonic that needs to be filled. It was very noticeable when we were talking about Aphex Twin and nobody could think where to place him on the lineup.

Didn't they put Disclosure and Rudimental on Sonic back in 2013? remember being around the Other Stage at a similar time as one of them was on and it was absolutely insane. Glastonbury needs to realise the popularity of mainstream electronic music amongst their demographic; it's not a niche fanbase anymore.

It seems they did the right thing this year by putting both of the aforementioned acts on main stages but that bottleneck for Silver Hayes/Other that year was horrible. I didn't go in 2014 so don't know if it improved much?

Couldn't Aphex Twin headline the Park stage? That's where I'd place him. There's also been dance acts on West Holts, such as Disclosure and Chase and Status.

He's far too big for Park. I think he could potentially headline West Holts but I'd rather see a dedicated dance/electronic music type area than have the remit of West Holts change too much.
