Chemical Tom has got to be Other Stage headliner.

One of them - the dark haired non balding long haired one - has retired from live performance to concentrate on academic pursuits, but is apparently still involved from a studio POV.

Ed is still involved with making the music and the DJ sets, but isn't doing the 'live' tour to focus on his academic studies or something. There still might be two of them on stage so to speak because the visuals guy is doing the tour instead I believe.

I can't see Justice getting anywhere near Other Stage headliners to be honest, I reckon JPT is the most likely place if they were to play again - been a long time making the 3rd album though, a lot has changed since they last released anything of note.

There used to be two of them. Adam and Noah (known as Vegetable Vision), who I met one Sunday afternoon years ago - best mates of my (sort of) brother in law (who worked on the Chems film "Don't Think" - produced by Emily's hubby), and whose kids ended up within the visuals show used at Glasto 2000.

Yeah you're right, I think that when AVD came out a lot of people, myself included, had expected a similar album to Cross - but realistically a lot of the music they made on the fist album was already sounding pretty dated, what they ended up releasing was basically an homage to their own tastes in music. I don't recall the album getting as much buzz as the first, although my own opinion of the album may cloud my memory on that. I have subsequently listened back to the album and it's a lot better than I had originally thought on first listen - the Kavinsky album sounded much more like what I had expected from the 2nd Justice album.

It will be interesting to see what they come back sounding like though - the whole Ed Banger thing has died down completely now and I wonder whether they will cash out with the EDM side of things or do something completely different.

Calvin Harris to be one. Not exactly 'live' as it's just button pressing on a pre recorded set but it will attract a large audience. He'll probably rope a few artists in to sing live as well like Ellie Goulding

i really like both albums and the planisphere ep is great too.

I loved AVD.

But the two live albums really show what Justice are all about. Thoroughly recommend anyone wanting to check Justice out that they listen to the live albums first

Oh yeah absolutely, the Kavinsnky album seemed to get released solely on the back of Nightcall doing so well, I reckon without that they wouldn't have bothered with it

I concur with this this! I do like both the actual albums songs...but the live albums are what I choose to listen to, if I am in the mood for Justice.

I thought they were going tour a bit more than they did after AVD, so only managed to end up catching 20 minutes at the end of their at Reading in 2012. Was convinced they'd end up at Glastonbury in 2013

Gutted I wasn't there but the 4 albums released since 2003 can't help but improve their set. Saw them at Jodrell Bank in 2013 - they missed a load out of that set but it was still amazing!
