We drive up from Newcastle every year and although it's not to bad, apart from the walk of death, it's still a chore.

Last year in Tangering fields the crowd next to us, who were from the north east Scotland said if you come down from that direction you're steered to a different car park from the southerners which, according to them, was right neer the camp entrance. They dissapeared every day back to the car for "supplies" and deffo werent away long.

Is this correct, ie the parking

i drive down from Aberdeen every year and as above said come off at Milnathort and you will be parked in the North car parks which is closer to the campsite entrance

You will be travelling the same direction as me coming from the west of Scotland so you basically need to drive past the site and then sort of double back on yourself to get into the North car park if I remember correctly.

Is the north car park a lot closer to campsite gates than the west one? Trying to figure out if its worth the extra miles.

Simple way to do it is to ignore all the signs on the motorway, when you get to Kinross follow the signs for the campervan field n that takes you to the north car park,

Aye the north car park is much closer but it's also the one which causes all the delays liek the first friday year when we were sat on the M90 for about 4 hours and missed all the bands. It can take hours to get out on Monday too. We found a shortcut across the hills to the next car park along which wasn't as close but nothing like the walk of death. This had the best of all worlds.
