Eric.
Surely Kasabian have gotta be considered as potential headliners? They're in Benidorm the weekend after playing Low Festival with The Drums Edited February 12, 2015 by Eric.
gedkelly
Oh man. I've seen faithless and prodigy so many times. Dream available additions would be; Radiohead, Mumford and Sons, Of Monsters and Men, Marika Hackman, Haley Bonar, Jose Gonzalez, pinkshinyultrablast, War On Drugs, Beck, Placebo, Chemical Brothers, Pan-Pot, Modeselektor/Moderat, Jon Hopkins, Maceo Plex, Green Velvet, Rone, Caribou, Sia, CHVRCHES, ALVVAYS, Yeah Yeah Yeahs. If they can get 3 or 4 of them then i don't care who else plays Would you not want to see faithless and the prod again then ?
Gingerlord
They're good like but would like to see something else. Not complaining that Prodigy have been announced but Faithless too would be too much like Creamfields in the early naughties
gedkelly
I could watch them both every night of the week . Would love to see the chemical brothers get announced though , and placebo , slaves , royal blood
Gingerlord
Thought I'd throw some speculation in. The Chems are in Dublin on 19th. Unlikely Mumford and Sons are at Bilbao BBK 9-11th. Possible War on Drugs in Barcelona 7th then nothing until August when they're in Oslo. Strong chance Sia not touring. Unlikely Radiohead are suppose to be in the studio. Unlikely CHVRCHES are at Coachella but nothing else announced. Possible Beck is touring the US up to May. Dunno if they could land such a big act. Unlikely Of Monsters And Men are in Barca on 10th and Bilbao on 11th. Strong Chance
giantwagon
Mumford and Sons are at Bilbao BBK 9-11th. Possible Wrong. Mumford & Sons playing BBK Bilbao means that they won't be at beni.

DGrant261
Surely Kasabian have gotta be considered as potential headliners? They're in Benidorm the weekend after playing Low Festival with The Drums They did it last year They're good like but would like to see something else. Not complaining that Prodigy have been announced but Faithless too would be too much like Creamfields in the early naughties With Prodigy/Portishead confirmed, I think Chems/Faithless re unlikley. However neither would be that unwelcome if announced Thought I'd throw some speculation in. War on Drugs in Barcelona 7th then nothing until August when they're in Oslo. Strong chance CHVRCHES are at Coachella but nothing else announced. Possible Beck is touring the US up to May. Dunno if they could land such a big act. Unlikely Of Monsters And Men are in Barca on 10th and Bilbao on 11th. Strong Chance Of M&M/Chvrches both very plausible imo. I can see Beck happening actually, one of the few major European festivals I think he'd suit. War on Drugs could happen. Black Keys is my bet for the next headliner
wedgie
Black keys are at primavera so I doubt they'll be at beni
giantwagon
Could someone give me an indication as to how long the journey on the official bus service is from Barcelona airport to the festival?
andytommo
Interesting; http://entertainment.ie/music/news/Irish-festival-favourite-Trenchtown-heads-to-Spanish-festival-Benicassim-this-year/339624.htm you've been to Electric Picnic, you'll be aware that Trenchtown is one of the areas where the party never really stops. It seems that other international festivals have cottoned on to its fun-time vibes and are getting in on the act, as Trenchtown Irieland will make its debut at FIB Benicassím this year from July 16th - 19th. The Irish-founded reggae, ska, dub and dancehall-themed arena will host four stages at the Spanish festival; The ‘Yard’ Live Stage, Treasure Beach, Roots Arena & the Kingston 12 Café will all feature some big names on the international reggae scene. Other acts announced for FIB Benicassím include Florence and the Machine, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Portishead, Public Enemy and The Prodigy. The below video will give the hitherto uninitiated an idea of what Trenchtown brings to a festival.

robMUFC96
I saw the 4 hours and got excited for another lineup announcement, don't tease me like that!
wedgie
Libs playing Ibiza rocks on July 22nd (which I'm really pissed off about as I've already booked to go to maga straight from so I'll miss it) and a few people commenting about FIB on the announcement but surely they won't play it 2 years in a row. I'd love them to though

Toto Schillaci
Snoop was announced for Kendal Calling last night and he has a date in Denmark on 24th. With Public Enemy already announced I think it would make perfect sense to have him on.
giantwagon
Think snoop is possible, yeah. Anyone have any idea when the next announcement might be?
DezP91
Libertines, and Kasabian announced for Low festival in Benidorm 24th, 25th, 26th July.
JtFl
http://www.nme.com/news/the-libertines/82984 4th paragraph of this article says libertines are back at beni this year, what do we reckon? a mistake from nme or we've got libs headlining again? Gingerlord
Love when publications slip up. Not a huge Libs fan but would be decent.
giantwagon
Blur would make this set of headliners 100x better my word. Mustn't get hopes up though because we'll probably get The Vaccines. (Which, admittedly, wouldn't be too bad, but you get what I mean)
