I doubt they'll play many Franz songs if any tbh, FFS are writing an album together so I'd imagine it'll all be material from that.

Might get a few synthed-up versions of some old Franz songs I guess, which would be cool.

The organizator of pohoda festival in slovakia which has FFS too. Anounced that they will also play bigest hits of both bands.

Portishead headlining Latitude on Sat night, and Noel G headlining Sunday night - both FIB and Latitude organised by Festival Republic these days. Maybe we will have Portishead Thu, and Noel on Friday? Alt J are their Fri headliner at Latitude. There's a few on the Latitude line-up that I'd also like to see at FIB, such as the Vaccines, Caribou, Catfish & The Bottlemen, Django Django, & PSB, although some of these might be exclusively signed into other Spanish festivals this summer?

Re; headliners, I doubt FIB will get any more either, however I'd class Noel G as 4th headliner, in addition to Florence, Prodigy & Portishead - that's a decent set of headliners IMO - especially if Portishead to the quieter/more low key Thu night.

Thu - Portishead

Fri - Noel G /Los Planetas (but Noel will be a much bigger draw anyway)

Sat - Prodigy

Sun - Florence

I' be happy with that, with a decent under-card (especially Jungle), which is already starting to look good, some 4-5 months in advance!!!

Quieter/more low key Thursday night?! Did you go last year? Chase and Status were anything but quiet and low key! Even Ellie Goulding put on a big show. Tinnie was one one the liveliest acts on the card too.

Yes, this'll be my 5th year on the trot.

Got a few questions for you if you've been that many times-

Is it worth getting villacamp or is the normal campsite fine? I've heard that there's barely any shade in the normal one and so it can get unbearably hot, is this true or an exaggeration?

Also, bit of a rubbish question this, but do you take a big camping bag that you wear on your back or do you take a wheelie suitcase? I obviously take my camping bag to fests over here because of mud/grass etc, but wondering whether a wheelie case would be alright at beni?

Sorry, can't really help, as we stay in a hotel each year. I have seen campers with wheelie cases though. What I would say, is normal camping last year (and this year, so I understand) will be much closer to the festival site than Villacamp, which is about a mile away. I've regular heard about the heat issue, affecting sleep at main camp, but most people just head down the beach in the day, and kip down there

I've not done villacamp before but the shade in the normal site was pretty good last year. The year before there was absolutely no shading.

I'd suggest a backpack. It'll be easier for you to carry round when you leave the camp.

Just as I had given up hope on Blur, now it really, really, really could happen :')

Undercard wish list: Weezer, St Vincent, the Vaccines, Gengahr, django django, Darlia, Leon Bridges, The Bulletproof Bomb, cage the elephant, catfish, dd dumbo, Beck (probably too big), feeder, Frank turner, hot chip, howler, jungle, miles kane, milky chance, ruen brothers, the ting tings, spector, the wombats

A good chunk of those and I'll be delighted :)

Few questions about transport in and around beni...

are there any shuttle buses that are regular? On the FIB website it seems like i can only come in at a chosen time in the day and then i'm stuck there untill the shuttle bus comes at the end of the day..

If the shuttle buses are restricted like that, does anyone know how much a taxi into Castellon would cost?

My guess is that it'll go something like this (if the structure is like last year with a dance act closing he main stage each day)

Stromae

Blur

Jamie T

Prodigy

Los Planetas

Bastille

Mark Ronson

Portishead

Noel Gallagher

(Dance act tbc)

Florence and the Machine

Crystal Fighters

EDIT: not in a particular day order just separated into days, not sure on how big the dance acts would be and could we still have some subs to be announced instead of maybe Crystal Fighters?
