I got some cans of AC/DC Lager last year in a Spanish supermarket.

It has the black ice logo on .

So they are in Germany on the Thursday, and free on the friday / saturday.

hmm.. I remember something in discussion a few pages back stating the Saturday wouldn't work? Can't remember...

they can do the Friday or Saturday of Glastonbury but either way they'd be doing consecutive shows which makes me skeptical.

That is indeed the biggest cloud on the horizon regarding AC/DC.

However, this news shows the 'they need their own stage' days have been and gone and that they're playing festivals, so it's only positive in those regards.

And the reason for them not playing consecutive shows on the tour could be due to transporting and setting up the stage setup, which wouldn't matter for Glastonbury.

Just a thought. I don't even want them to headline.

Does it? They could still have their own stage at Coachella for all we know.

They won't get in excess of $8m from Coachella as that's what they have as a standing offer for Led Zeppelin, The Smiths, Talking Heads and classic GNR but it will be in excess of $5m.

Going by the interview they did on Radio 6 I think they seemed like they wanted to. Angus was in the background just shouting "yes!" wasn't he? Just seems odd to string everyone along like that rather than just saying no.
