First timer after my eldest son and his wife recommended it. Really enjoyed it despite the weather...have been wetter and muddier : ) Lovely grub from the Tibetan food stall. Loved Athlete and some other discoveries the Salutation Dub Collective , Woman's Hour and those Lumberjack Cowboy Heartbreak Trucking Co at the Woodland stage made for a fine festival.

Had an amazing time, weather really didn't stop play!

Highlights were discovering the band Gypsy Hill in Chai Wallahs and bouncing around to Reel Big Fish with my oldest on my shoulders!

Downsides was the obvious weather... Getting about was fine enough, but pushing twins in a double buggy started to get hard on sunday afternoon.

Walk were great too! We only saw them to dodge the rain, they were great and loads of aliens freaky dancing with each other was class to watch.

I would definitely go again,my little lad wants to go again and I think my wife only would if weather was guaranteed, which is impossible to predict when buying tickets. We will miss next year's because we are in Croatia.

Yes first time for us too and must say really impressed. Campervans fields were really chilled and had great neighbours. Highlights were evil blizzard at woodlands, bohemian rhapsody in house tent was great, as well as the Mondays and frank turner. Weather was grim but this is Britain. Just gotta get on with it. Will be back next year

Yeah the camper van was good again this year although some toilets at the other end of the field would have helped rather than a near 10 minute round trip ! Agreed with the fire lanes each side of your van but it quickly became bogged down with tents in certain areas, amazed the stewards didn't make em move em and was hoping to see some sort of emergency vehicle drive over the top of the tents to teach the people a lesson haha

Had a great time. Weather was obviously a feckin disaster but really enjoyed it. We rolled out at 7pm on Sunday. Lost my tent which was in it`s 6th summer of service. Kids wellies had also gone and we had no dry clothes left by Saturday lunchtime. Alot of people left the family camping on Saturday during the day. Felt for them but folks with prams couldn`t get in and out.

Fair play to the festival. I have given this a bit of thought and there really was nothing more they could have done. They dumped tonnes of that wood chip stuff but it sunk within a few hours with all the foot traffic. They opened up the road past Emperors for us and that helped us a bit and kept 1000`s of folk away from the path through general which was a total disaster by Friday afternoon ( bet the traders along that path weren`t too happy that we were being taken along a different route ).

They also let us leave by going up through the field near the taxi drop off point. Was probably the same distance to the car but was mud free. We were last down in 2012 when the weather was better but the toilets were a mess. Huge improvement with the sawdust long drop ones. There were plenty in family camping and also lot of water points. Not that there was a shortage of water !!!

Cheers to Ramra for the help puting the tent up and was really good to catch up with a few of you on Thursday night and across the weekend.

Shite weather - good times.

I really enjoyed it, despite the mud. We ended up leaving early on the Sunday as I was struggling to get around in the mud, but thoroughly enjoyed it and would go back.

Everyone seemed friendly and I didn't hear of any thefts around us.

Spent a small fortune on booze/food (although the food was good - I didn't have a meal I didn't enjoy).

Highlights for me were the Bohemian Rhapsody sing a long with Showhawk Duo, the Everly Pregnant Brothers up at Tim Peaks and Reel Big Fish for their sheer energy.

Didn't manage to bump into any of you guys, but we did look! Never mind, there's always another year :)

I was standing right next to the guy who filmed this, great scenes. Altogether now............

No hassle mate, didn't mind helping to put the tent up although carting all your stuff from the car park laden down like Clint Eastwoods mule was a bit of a liberty haha

Ha - No way. I was just to the left of this, right at the side of the tent. The ground seemed to be a bit raised up there and I'm a short arse so it was appreciated :)

Shit. We should have had the efest meet at this ! The Daft Punk bit was quality as was Faithless. Me and the weans were standing on some guy`s green ground sheet right in the back corner. We were very wet but it was roasting in the tent which helped dry us out a bit. Thought they were one of the weekend highlights. Talented blokes.

Okay dokay.

Quid-pro-quo time. One litre bottle of rum, nice spiced stuff e.g. Sailor Jerry, about half litre of gin.

Put 2-parts raisins & 1 part each sultanas & black currants into a tupperware box, fill with rum. Put glace cherries and fruit peel mix in a tupperware box with the gin. Keep in the fridge for 4 weeks, turning occasionally, more booze as it's absorbed.

Best mince pie mix ever. You bite them and get a wee boozy headrush. Crazy good.

That's pretty much it, two large bags off Murray mints, into a bottle off vodka. Other sweets are available , we also done skittles cola cube, red sugar laces, lemon sherbets .

Leave near the kettle (or anywhere you walk past )

Shake every time you pass it.

We have desosolved a litre in three hours :-)

The hairy bikers and the wife do a Christmas pudding vodka, now that's nice

I might give it another go as it's ages since I've done one, the Murrey mints option sounds a good one. I've avoided chewy sweets like skittles an starburst in the past because I was told it didn't dissolve properly. Maybes they were wrong but didn't wanna waste a bottle of vodka trying

If it sells out again next year we should petition for a tickets subforum, or at least some active moderation.

Very good point. Can`t blame folk for trying to punt tickets that they can no longer use or for trying to find tickets when it`s sold out but there were times when the full page of " topics " was ticket related :(
