NOFX... have they been mentioned?

They do have a convenient hole in their touring plans.

06/27/15 O2 Academy Birmingham , UK

06/30/15 O2 Academy Newcastle , UK

07/03/15 O2 Academy Leeds, UK

07/04/15 O2 Brixton Academy London, UK

I've caught them at Leeds on a couple of occasions, always very entertaining.

YES!! Would love that. Would relive my youth...

Slash seems to be quite a few festivals in the run up to the festival:

Rock am Ring

Download

Hellfest

Graspop Metal Meeting.

I think he'd be awesome on the Other Stage Subbing. He was great on the Pyramid but i think perhaps a little more intimacy would be great.

Talking of Graspop Metal Meeting, just check the lineup :

Black Stone Cherry ?

Motörhead ?

Faith No More?

And it's the week before Glasto.

Motorhead and Faith No More are possible. Not sure why you'd think Black Stone Cherry would play to be honest.

yeah surprised by him subbing Coachella. didn't think he was that big either, although i guess his first Coachella performance was kind of a big deal so maybe he's looked at highly there

not sure where i'd place him either, but West Holts headliner still seems about right i reckon. hasn't really gotten any bigger or done anything else to put him any higher here in the UK. wouldn't be as excited about him playing as i was in 2013 as his album was kind of shit and so were his recent singles - would depend who he's up against

Must have a new album out soon then? If he does I can see Glasto rebooking him..

nothing's been mentioned about an album - just a few one off singles and a song for the Fifty Shades Of Grey soundtrack. all a bit shit. guessing an album's in the works but god knows if it'll be released this year. regardless, if he's on the festival circuit they should definitely try and re-book him. never found out why he disappeared from the 2013 lineup

If he dropped off on bad terms do you reckon it's likely they'l rebook?

Max Romeo is in the country in May. Just stumbled upon his show in Newcastle. Is he often in the UK?

yep, every other year if not every year.

He was in the UK in 2013, and played both WOMAD and Boomtown (and possibly other places too).

It was dead funny at Boomtown, you should have seen the crowds running towards the stage when they heard Chase The Devil, who I'm guessing thought Prodigy had suddenly appearred.

(that might seem harsh, but when so many of the Boomtown crowd didn't even know bob marley songs I can't believe they knew of Max).

Cheers, he's passed me by on other visits to the country.
