Rob da Bank has just announced the common people festival line up, probably a couple be at glastonbury, Fatboy Slim, De la Soul, Band of Skulls, Clean Bandit and a special guest

Clean Bandit are just hideous. I don't think there are any other bands doing the rounds that set my teeth on edge quite like they do.

Adding strings to shite dance tunes doesn't make them any less shite.

I haven't paid any attention to them just seem an obvious name to play, De La Soul would be great on West Holts

You're right. They don't.

I like all of those acts but Jesus Christ I'd hope they'd vary the lineup a bit more than that.

bare in mind Elbow, Jack White and The Black Keys were our subs last year. It's not uncommon for the subs to be pretty similar.

Vaccines, Noel Gallagher and The Strokes seems a bit more likely than Libertines, Noel Gallagher, The Strokes... idk arguably all three of those subs could be reading and leeds headliners.

I'm starting to think the Libs at glasto rumour has no steam to it as well, and they are simply headlining reading and leeds as always predicted.

2013 - Dizzy Rascal, Primal Scream, Nick Cave

2011 - Elbow, Morrisey, Pendulum

2010 - Dizzy Rascal, Scissor Sisters, Faithless

2009 - The Specials, Kasabian, Nick Cave

It's more common for them not to be.

If we must look for paterns in everything, Dizzy's due to sub this year.

wasn't specifically saying patterns, but I wasn't saying that's it's unlikely to have three very similar subs.

Lots of tasty stuff on that Primavera lineup - Replacements, Underworld and Thee Oh Sees particularly standing out for me. Another one for Glasto to pilfer from. Headliners aside, good bookings look to be pretty easy to come by this year, I hope the Eavii can keep up the trend.

Got a feelling that will be the outcome of this years lineup, strength in depth

Hasn't been announced yet but I've been made aware, from a friend who works in ticketing, that Kylie Minogue is due to play British Summer Time the weekend before Glastonbury (Sunday 21st). Announcement and tickets are apparently due next week.

Haven't a clue whether she'll do Glastonbury, or if this has been discussed already, but she's touring in the UK the same week so it's a possibility. Can't imagine she'd headline but maybe sub?
