First names for rock-a-field in Luxembourg which takes place the week after Glastonbury were announced today. I'm sure this was the same weekend as Glastonbury this year but seems to have moved back a week, maybe as a result of Werchter being earlier.

Would be very pleased to see Eagles of Death Metal back. Muse and Alt-J appear to be playing every festival going around G.

Quite a few names announced for Roskilde. I'd he happy to see St. Vincent back as I missed her last year and maybe The War on Drugs playing again.

Doubt St. Vincent will be back as she had a pretty prominent slot last year. War on Drugs should get a higher slot on a smaller stage now though I reckon. I actually think they might be a big too big for park headline, they've just added a second date at Manchester Albert Hall for February so I don't know, high JP? Would also love Goat back as I missed them in 2013, high-ish park I'd say, though a park headline would be great.

Really hope St. Vincent gets bumped to a mid day slot on The Other. With her slot going down so well last year and her album likely going into top 5 all the end of the year list she would be a great re-book on a bump. Sadly I didn't see her as she clashed with Stromae last year ... no regrets but hope she is back.

Guessing they've both been mentioned but The Cribs and The Maccabees both look set to tour and do the rounds again. The Cribs would be well suited to a high JP slot IMO, with The Maccabees perhaps pushing for third or sub Other Stage.

All of this lot are doing Austin Psych fest in early May, so hopefully a few of them are in Europe afterwards. Not expecting Primal Scream again but Melody's Echo Chamber, Spiritualized, Tame Impala and Jesus & Mary Chain would be decent. Could see Tame Impala headlining JP actually.

They did Latitude last year though didn't they? I'd be surprised to see them take up a fairly prominent slot there 2 years in a row.

Damien Rice and TWOD announced for werchter, expect to see them both at glasto.

TWOD deserve a second time around after the poor slot last year.

Ah okay, fair enough. I know a lot of people were sceptical of the Pyramid slot because it would've suited a more devoted crowd on the Park Stage or something but it feels like sunny day music and most of the general Pyramid crowd were watching Blondie! They could be back; I'd say headlining John Peel or perhaps The Park if so.

No idea on Damien Rice. Quite hard to place as it's been ages since he was last doing anything but he was pretty big back then. Maybe John Peel/The Park header also.

I'd say those dates suggest he's not doing Glasto.

As far as i'm aware he's not played before.
