Strange the Black Grape issue. They announced the April 11th gig but no details on when tickets go on sale.

Could both The Mondays and Black Grape play Glastonbury?

The Bury gig should be good. June and July is shaping up very nicely.

I'd wager you'll see neither. Previous form indicates that the baggy bands are given a wide berth by the bookers.

OK, I bet someone has mentioned this already - but The Flaming Lips are touring.... mainly in the US, but they're in Liverpool in May, then Portsmouth in August and they've got nothing on for Glasto weekend

I'd love to see the Lips at Glasto. Seeing them play Bestival was an almost spiritual experience - 'Do You Realize?' was incredibly moving.

MF Doom is supporting Flying Lotus in Brixton on May 1st. I think I'm right in saying that Flying Lotus is a Bestival exclusive but maybe, just maybe DOOM might show up at Glastonbury.

I had to get myself a ticket regardless though as that line up was too good to ignore. Shabazz Palaces also playing.

I think that makes Motorhead a lot less likely, to be honest. I don't think they do back to back dates anymore what with Lemmy's poor health.

Having to miss this due to a lack of cash, so I'm really hoping MF Doom shows up at Glastonbury. That show does have a ridiculously good lineup.

Well what sort of set would they be playing other than thirty mins to an hour? I would like it and wouldn't rule it out but I don't think playing to some folk at Glastonbury is worth risking Lemmy's life over. Joining Foo Fighters for Ace of Spades or something is probably the most likely scenario of Lemmy at Worthy Farm.

Leeds have done it countless times, and Glastonbury have twice now, Why when they have heavy lights, and a sound that needs a tent would anyone book them outdoors. There are a few examples of this, but this is the one which always amuses me.

I think how low they've played on the Other Stage shows that they probably wouldn't be chosen to headline the John Peel Stage. But yeah they could/should/probably will play that stage.
