thetime
Wouldn't belle and Sebastian headline over Bjork though? I'm going by the venues Bjork has played last couple of tours and B&S venues.
Gucci Piggy
Wouldn't belle and Sebastian headline over Bjork though? I'm going by the venues Bjork has played last couple of tours and B&S venues. Doubt it. Not sure about the venues they play but I see Björk as the bigger artist. For instance, her being touted as an Other Stage headliner at Glasto while B&S are touted as Park headliners.
Frankly Mr Shankly
Wouldn't belle and Sebastian headline over Bjork though? I'm going by the venues Bjork has played last couple of tours and B&S venues. Not a chance. Bjork purposely chose intimate venues for her last tour, but she also headlined Bestival, where as B&S played in the Big Top the last time they played. Uncle Liam
I think you can count Interpol out of playing. They just announced a decent sized US tour starting the Monday (I think) after Latitude. There was also no Chicago date announced at all, which makes me think they are down to headline Pitchfork Festival.
Uncle Liam
Now just wait and see Interpol to be announced for Latitude this week. Edited January 23, 2015 by Uncle Liam
Matt42
Anyone think instead of Bjork it would be The chemical brothers, alt J, paolo nutini ?

Uncle Liam
Well Hozier won't headline Latitude. But you'd have to say that confirms Alt-J pretty much.
FloorFiller
fucking hell, i knew this Hozier was taking off in a big way but headlining a festival!? what's he gonna do; play his album from start to finish and then do it once more

Uncle Liam
It's the era of the pop singer songwriter. Probably guarantees Nutini is headlining Latitude. Fuck it though I'm going to Pitchfork. Or Truck. Probably.

Amy Lawn
Aww man, please don't be Chemical Brothers instead of Bjork, in an ideal world we'd obviously get both, but it's clearly one or the other, and should only be Bjork. Amy Lawn
could well be - i think Latitude will get one of them and the other will headline the Other stage at Glastonbury Probably will be, Chems feel like an act I'd prefer to see at Glastonbury, and would like to see Bjork more at Latitude, but it'll likely be the other way around. dentalplan
Chemical Brothers wouldn't be the act they've been trying to get for a while would they? I'd imagine any given year they'd be able to book Chems if they wanted.

I'd imagine any given year they'd be able to book Chems if they wanted. yeah Chems don't exactly seem like the elusive type of act that Bjork does, but you never know - they might've just chosen a different gig any time they were offered Latitude
thetime
Bjork's not been announced for any European festivals, still have my doubts for this year. I am trying to not get excited about Bjork doing summer gigs though.
the wonderwhy
Probably doesn't mean much but the Latitude bookers are at Alt-J's O2 gig tonight.

Matt42
How much does longitude / lattitude usually share? Reckon the only headliner they will share will be Alt J, think the chems will choose glasto and Hozier will sub Alt J
