Yeah its on my radar for sure this year, saw earlier Roughneck Riot are confirmed, thats gonna push me to get tickets I think. A couple of me pals went last year and said it was ace

I have been for the last two years, really excellent festival, really enjoyed it

Great atmosphere, everybody is really friendly, the beers a bit shit but there are good local bars nearby which you can nip out to

The stages are really close to each other so it really quick to get from one to another, and because its inside you get no sound bleed and the weather doesnt matter and you sleep in a bed at night

I'm hoping to get my leave cleared at work in the next few days then I'm going to buy a ticket, I've already booked a room (refundable, just in case). I'm going alone, so I was just wondering who else is going and if anyone fancies meeting up?

What an awesome festival that was. Well organised, friendly, a great line up and venue and most of the stages ran on time pretty much all day every day. Only downers for me were the crap choice of draught lager and cider (and they ran out of most decent bottled ciders by lunchtime on the last day), and the main arena got very warm and stuffy as each day went on and could do with some ventilation.

 

Personal highlights were The Subhumans, The Damned, UK Subs, Culture Shock, TV Smith, Hugh Cornwell (lots of classic Stranglers tracks), Dirtbox Disco, Anti-Flag, and The Sweet were superb!! There were very few disappointments for me but The Boomtown Rats were the biggest; their sound was very poor and I left after 4 songs.

 

Next year is the 20th anniversary of the festival and the 40th of punk so big plans are in place to make it the best festival so far. I certainly hope to be there again.
