Greenpeace was shut down all 3 nights we went there.

Not sure for how long, but Saturday we were sat nearby and there was no music for at least 30 mins.

Side note, the new tree position is awful!

10-15 Min shutdown for Prospa after Justice, maybe like 20 mins in

Luckily had read the Whatsapp about another night, so knew it was coming back

Personally don't hate the new Tree, but agree it's very at odds with the stage next to it.

Think it could be different next year, doesn't feel natural

I fancy catching Jungle again after they smashed that West Holts set. I said I was done with WHP but they're playing in September and I'm tempted.

Can anyone advise me on the type of night it will be , I don't recognise many on there.

Assume they will be on last also based on the line up order?

They wont be on last As it will go on quite late. There will be acts on after jungle for sure.

Some great names on here Bonobo, Sofia Kourtesis, DJ Seinfeld I'd recommend checking out if you are not familiar they have lots of stuff on Spotify.

Found a clashfinder  for an old repercussions night that might give you a clue to the timings. DJ Shadow & Floating Points were the top bill on this one.

Worth noting they sometimes now have a last admission time so you have to be in by ac Oclock

Has anyone here ever been to Illusive Festival?

I’m considering going to this years edition in September. I don’t know a whole bunch from the lineup but the stages look cool and I know doubt have a blast.

They’ve announced the lineup for two stages so far:

Any lesser known names there that people would recommend checking out?

Heaps of new Drumsheds dates just announced - there's a bicep TBC, chems DJ, FBS etc etc. quite a wide range of names

The full lineups are out early next week and tickets late next week.

yup

Seriously overtouring at the minute!

They're around a lot for sure.

I'm kinda OK with it as the Chroma stuff is obviously different, but they need album 3 out before any more purely "Bicep" dates, Isles is 3.5 years old!!

To be honest demand doesn't really seem to be letting up.

Just a boring booking but only so many acts can fill drumsheds - there's still loads who clearly can that haven't done it yet mind you

Chroma's gonna be an album isn't it? Thought Chroma 001 etc were the track numbers?

Then the live version is the 'extended mix' with added non bicep.

Oh is it?

I thought Chroma was just an EP and they were making Bicep LP3?

I dunno I might be wrong, I can't remember where I saw this and it's entirely possible my brain made it up.

There’s at least a 50% chance one of us might be right or wrong!

I''m pretty sure this is true. Chroma is just them DJing for a while to separate the albums. Pretty standard for acts to Dj between the albums. Then they will have a massive relaunch for the new album. I expect huge arena shows with the third album and an Other stage headline type size slot.

Definitely going to Bugged Out with the Chems (my 3rd time at Drumsheds and now my lad is 18 he can come too!) but will probably book travel and wait until nearer the time to pick up cheap tickets. They were going for just under a tenner a few days before the previous Bugged Out there (with Orbital and Hot Chip live, Basement Jaxx, A-Trak, Erol etc DJing) so worth hanging on imo.

Interested to see what some of the other line ups look like on Tuesday. Cuttin' Headz and The Hydra x Eat Your Own Ears both have a lot of potential but will likely give Upperground a look. It's obviously Artbat's label but they've done some events with Camelphat recently so reckon they might turn up. Like everything there, the shear size of the place means the line ups have to be stacked so should get plenty of bang for your buck!

Andy C is also taking his Alive show, which was at the o2 last year, to Drumsheds. Although I really didn't enjoy my one visit there and judging by the comments, a lot of people were in the same boat.

Yeah I second this. I don't think it makes sense for them to be doing all these recent Chroma shows, some of which are fairly big, only for them to release a full Chroma album afterwards.

I went to their Brighton beach gig last Friday. Good but not a patch on the Isles tour.

I'm betting on floating points, New album in September and isn't playing in London apart from a random APE date where he is down the bill. If not that maybe it will be a four Tet event and he will be subbing him
