Time Being
I only know a couple of people who go to Coachella but I'm sure they didn't think twice about Phoenix headlining. As you're probably aware, it was the Stone Roses who threw everyone off that year.

Phoenix as a headliner that year seemed so bizarre to me, and even moreso now a few years later when they seem to have disappeared other than appearing on A Very Murray Christmas recently. great band, but that bump up to headliner seemed to come out of nowhere
Matt42
Phoenix headlined because the rolling stones pulled out apparently Also why all of a sudden is Ultra booking good DJs? It's meant to be where EDM heads flock to

Ultra Phase 1 lineup is very good.

Mezhyp1
What about his Cox/Troxler/Voorn at Tobacco Dock? Anyone into that? Cox playing Arcadia sunday night would go down a storm wouldn't it? The slot 2manyDj's played.

Imagine running from LCDSS on the other stage to see Cox smash the place the pieces, that would be the way to end the weekend. I didn't go to 2manydjs, the path from the other stage up to Arcadia was frighteningly busy and I've seen them loads of times, hopefully they recreate techno Friday though, that was a lot of fun
FuzzyDunlop
Im a big beyer fan, he was on my wish list, but it was too quiet for me. Could never get somewhere to hear the music, so I left. My mates went to Drumcode at tabacco dock in 14 and 15, they said it was good. I have never been myself. It is too expensive for me to travel for from manchester at the minute though

I'd have loved to have watched SFA, I saw them on tour in Glasgow and it was fantastic, but The Park would have been that bit more special. I vacated Arcadia a little before Adam Beyer finished, ended up in Stonebridge and that was the end of that
Matt - Ed Banger Records
I wandered up to Arcadia on the Friday having gone for a detour through Shangri-La, none of the people I was with fancied it so I ended up in Stonebridge until the wee small hours on the Friday and randomly bumped into a guy I was mates with at college that I hadn't seen for over a decade, was a good way to end the night. I think I may try and get a few mates together for the SidexSide thing at Tobacco Dock, apparently its a pretty good venue and who doesn't like to start early and be home on the last train eh? Ben I couldn't have ran at that point if my life depended on it, i made my way as quickly as it was possible to Arcadia, needless to say I didn't make it quickly enough to see any of Maceo Plex. Arcadia is becoming a bigger and bigger spectacle every year, it would be great to see some of the biggest names in techno playing there

Especially as Cirez D. But names such as... Carl Cox, Len Faki, Nicole Moudeber, Ben Klock, Gary Beck, Gaiser or Alan Fitzpatrick would be up my street.
bennyhana22
I'd dearly love to replicate the fun of last year's Friday night at Arcadia this year. THIS YEAR!! :) Ben

I don't know if I could see Prydz playing Arcadia but it would be tremendous, I saw him at SW4 last year and that might be the worst sound in all of the world, but I really for the sense he puts on a terrific show. I'd take Ben Klock in any form whether it's b2b with someone or on his lonesome, he's probably the most consistent techno dj around. I'd like to see a couple of Kolsch/Black Coffee/Motor City Drum Ensemble/Ben UFO and some of the JESUS boys whether it's together again or individually, a couple of them and I'd be more than content

Untz
That Resident Advisor night looks tempting, but I feel too old for the place and it's the same night as the Perc Trax night at Corsica. That said, the Perc Trax night last year was full of LADS anyway. Decisions decisions.

Cox, Troxler and Voorn looks massive but considering dock tickets go for about 50 each, its pretty hefty for a day out - especially when you're almost definitely gonna wanna go clubbing somewhere else after! How many rooms has Tobacco Dock got and what's the capacity etc? I'm going to Bonobo's outlier event in March and there's loads of acts on the lineup I want to see!
