It supposedly lives online somewhere. I wonder if anybody knows? Yep that's definitely a real thing, although if I remember correctly the differences are pretty minimal as they just used similar sounding samples that they could clear for the released version

I was just hoping something a little darker or heavier would happen, even if only for a tune, but it is definitely an album I will be revisiting again soon. It's quite different to most of his previous work as it's not really intended for the club like the rest are, if you want something a bit heavier:

Quite different to what I usually listen to, but I enjoyed it. The production is sharp, the synths are clear and the kind of sounds I enjoy. It's quite a "dreamy - lose yourself in the music" album. It's something I can imagine really enjoying as a warm up for whats to come. (Possibly before Sigur Ros?) It doesn't quite kick in for me though. I was just hoping something a little darker or heavier would happen, even if only for a tune, but it is definitely an album I will be revisiting again soon. Highlight - Silhouettes (I,II,III), which is fantastic. Pretty much agree with your assessment Fuzz. At times it's brilliant, but just a bit too much ambient for me. It's like it's trying to do too many things (albeit well) at once, and could probably benefit from being either slightly longer or focusing more on one 'sound'. The orchestral stuff is breathtaking though, and would be cracking live.

I dont go clubbing as much as I used to, so they dont get overplayed for me. The last track I remember being everywhere (and I mean EVERYWHERE) was this... it's 6 years old, so shows when I stopped regularly going clubbing:
Winslow Leach
Good and noble people of the Electronic/Dance thread: I'm going to Lost Village at the end of May, and obviously there are people on the lineup I'm majorly excited about seeing, but there's also some I'm not familiar with. So who do you think I should absolutely not miss? Any recommendations/suggestions?

Memory Man
would it be terribly upper middle class of me to say the tribal banquet?! i've been to michael o'hares restaurant and it is something else!! music wise of course, greg wilson and horse meat disco if you like your funk/soul/disco. ben ufo you can't miss, henrik schwarz is quite hard to see these days. Midland is very consistent so i'd see him.

Ben UFO, Ben Klock, Koze and Ame are all at the top of the list. Liking what I'm hearing of Fatima Yamaha as well. 6 minutes ago, Memory Man said: would it be terribly upper middle class of me to say the tribal banquet?! i've been to michael o'hares restaurant and it is something else!! music wise of course, greg wilson and horse meat disco if you like your funk/soul/disco. ben ufo you can't miss, henrik schwarz is quite hard to see these days. Starting from the bottomof the DJ line up and working my way up i'd have to see: Dan Shake, Horse Meat Disco, Jasper James, Palms Trax, Jeremy Underground, Artwork, ItaloJohnson, Tom Trago, Gerd Janson, Leon Vynehall, Midland, Bicep, Jackmaster, Roman Flugel, Joy O, Floating Points, Ben UFO. Just realised that's pretty much the whole line up. Me and the booking agent for this festival would get on very well. your mother
Agree with most of the suggestions, floating points is my favourite dj in the world, and Jeremy Underground was one of the best I saw at Dekmantel last year, they'd be my must sees and (if you like funk and soul) definitely definitely craig charles, saw him a few months back and he was actually a great dj and he was craig funking charles!
