Stage predictions

I'm hoping for Motorhead into Foo's. Florence just ruins things for everyone.

Is there a reason why everyone has both of them on the friday in all the guess's I've seen so far? From what I can see, Motorhead could do friday and sunday and Florence is free all weekend.

a regular poster on here had info that Florence was subbing Foos, and what with the three sub acts almost definitely being Florence, Pharrell and Alt-J, it makes sense that she'd sub Foos. Motorhead were never gonna get such a high slot - even third on Pyramid seems, imo, too high for them considering they get a similar placing at Download, which is much more 'their festival'

I'd much prefer Motorhead on the other stage if I'm honest, I think they would be better suited there than the Pyramid. But Motorhead, florence, foos? Florence and her merry machine just stick out like a sore pop thumb in a rock sandwich.

IMO Motorhead would be a superior sub for Foo's than Flo.

Can't stand Florence but I'll be amazed if she isn't above Motorhead at Glastonbury. Plus they llike to mix it up, keep the crowd churning

It is bloody hard to do, I don't even really attempt it, I just hope your JP headers for Friday are wrong.

I love looking at these, when people go to the trouble of putting them together, so thanks, SOAD!

Only observation is that surely no-one in their right minds would put Public Service Broadcasting in the blazing sunlight of 1230ish on the Pyramid, would they? Wouldn't they be in the JPT (i.e. in the 'dark')?

Someone posted on here a few weeks ago saying they weren't playing John Peel, though didn't say what stage they were playing. I'd guess high up on the Park but I suppose low Pyramid is possible.

Cool, thanks guys.

How sure are we that they're playing?

I only ask that as they're still just an ® on the eFests line-up page...

Ben

I'd have thought very likely.

Strangely I've just been looking at their tour dates and a few are now a sell out so I guess / hope that once a few more have sold out they'll be on the next poster.

Last album was excellent and they are Definetaly on the rise. Be a shame if they are not there.

Absolutely - one of the bands I'd been hoping to play since I got my ticket. Yes, the new record is a cracker.

FKA twigs sub headlining the other stage?

It must be past your bedtime, I suggest you sleep on that one

yeah she was the last one I had to place and I had no saturday other sub so I stuck her there.

We definitely still have an other sub TBA.

As stated before PSB did a set in the sun on west holts last year. was wonderful as well. Like you I thought they would be better off in the dark but I thought they were great for that time of day. Not sure if they would suit Pyramid but it would be something different for there and would be very cool if they turned up on it.

I can't see it personally, I've found her hard to place, but that's definitely a few notches above where I suspect she will be

Definitely think the other stage seems somewhat incomplete

I can see there being some 'bitch-slap' clashes this year. I can feel them coming badly.

Also it'd be great but somewhat optimistic about Enter Shikari playing Pyramid. I mean, I'd love it but I could see it being a little heavy in the screamy section of music for the Pyramid.

Where/when does everyone think Azealia Banks will be playing? A known name, fallen a bit off the radar due to label troubles, but still quite talked about by your Pitchforks etc after releasing a pretty good debut album in November.

Very low pyramid - played other stage last time and she has released her album (finally) plus she seems to be playing MainStage at most festivals she's announced for so maybe it's something she's requested.
