Where/when does everyone think Azealia Banks will be playing? A known name, fallen a bit off the radar due to label troubles, but still quite talked about by your Pitchforks etc after releasing a pretty good debut album in November.

She seems to have fallen size and relevance wise dramatically despite her twitter 'controversies'. Playing the 1xtra tent at Reading. Could feasibly be a Sonic headliner, or mid-high JP.

yeah she was the last one I had to place and I had no saturday other sub so I stuck her there.

We definitely still have an other sub TBA.

there are a lot of possibilities but i agree that nobody sticks out (especially if we're still thinking Ben Howard is headlining). i'm gonna go for either Iggy Pop or Beck to fit in with recent years' 'alt-rock Other sub', although i don't know why either would be held back from the first announcement

Beck could be held back due to the BST date with the Strokes needing to shift more tickets.

I was dissapointed that Iggy Pop wasn't announced though.

yeah their omission from the lineup is rather disappointing, as i was expecting both. i think one of them may be added, but both unfortunately seems unlikely

out of all the confirmed + TBC's that are likely to play the main stages this year, I've broken them up a bit, but there's a lot of space for other acts! I think overall the west holts seems the closest on this

Other: Ben Howard, George Ezra, MASSIVE GAP (I have no idea), Wilko Johnson, Sleaford Mods

West Holts: The Mothership Returns, Grace Jones, Vintage Trouble, Gregory Porter, Mavis Staples, St. Paul and the Broken Bones

Park: Spiritualized, Patti Smith, Father John Misty, Gaz Coombes, The Districts, Ibeyi, Rhodes

JP: The Maccabees, Enter Shikari, Death From Above 1979, Jamie xx, Gengahr, Alvvays, The Jacques

Probably a few lower down that I know little about that I've got in unrealistic places. Would have had B&S a little lower but couldn't see DCFC or Clean Bandit any higher/lower so I dunno really.

This may seem a bit out of the blue but what about Enter Shikari headlining the JP?

I know when they last played they were low on the Other but they headlined the 2nd stage at download in 2013 and again this year. With a new album, huge tours around the world and prominent spot at worldwide festivals?

Plus they are always moving up at Reading and Leeds and consistently sell out tours. I know they are Niche, so maybe that would be a less risky option than sticking them in a longer slot on the Other?

... or i'm talking out my ass.

Here's a little picture of how the lineup is looking at the moment from the original poster, on the four main stages. I think we'll be waiting a good few weeks now for the proper lineup announcement so I've highlighted the general approximate of the gaps that'll be filled in this coming lineup so people have an idea of how big the bands will be that are coming. Roughly about 50 more acts coming on the main stages, though most are quite low-level and in the West Holts/Park stage.

I wouldn't get too caught up with the fact that I've put certain bands in certain places because I have no idea for sure yet! This is a pretty rough idea

Ok yes I have a lot of work that I'm putting off doing tonight.

There are two big Other stage slots up for grabs on the saturday and sunday by the looks of this

Could be filled by the likes of:
Frank Turner, Seasick Steve, Beck, The Charlatans, Tame Impala and Placebo

Could be two of these

Drowningfish6 has put this together. Similar to Will-2609's, with some major differences.

i'd considered this. not really sure how likely it is at Glastonbury, but i definitely think they're big enough for it. was surprised to see them on the lineup at all tbh. reckon they'll be lumped on Other again myself

I think we're starting to get very close now

I know nobody is going to get it right but it's a good way to pass the time while we wait for the proper lineup

Yeah Shikari are a really weird one, see them discussed so little here that I've almost forgotten that they're playing despite it being a lot of fun last time I saw them live. I can't see them headlining a stage though, despite being very popular generally I'm not sure if they have that sort of pull for the Glastonbury audience.

Thanks!!

So many of the acts i want to see are lumped on the Friday on that prediction. I hope its not quite right, but still so much to see if it is the way.

the past two festivals have had ridiculously overstuffed Fridays so, based on this and only this, i'm expecting it to be similar this year
