Pretty sure they're recording at the moment and they only played a couple of gigs after last summer so had plenty of time last year to start, so that was just based on them possibly having a new album out in the summer.

Fair enough, I wouldn't mind them being there at all. The growth from their pyramid performance in 13 to their slot on the other in 14 was night and day. Although one of them was ill first time round and i'm pretty sure the sound was cutting out and the screens catching fire as well, never going to help!

Yeah I thought they were good on Other. I saw them on their tour at the end of 2013 and they surprised me how good they were then, I only went because my friend asked me to go and it was cheap but I really enjoyed it. Hoping they do have new stuff out for summer as you're right that they won't do 3 years off the back of one album.

Dude! That Sunday clash would be way too grim, Bjork, Lauryn Hill & Weezer!! Arghhhh. Give me a right stress that would!! Patti Smith in the park would be amazing though, so my Saturday would be swell

I'm glad so many people still think Taylor Swift will headline because Apart from AC/DC she is my main " big ask" of the whole line up. Having seen the news about Bonnaroo in June I think Mumfords could well headline again and I also think Steely Dan might get booked. If we are talking classic metal I reckon Judas Priest could appear in which case I would bev a VERY happy bunny

Taylor Swift wouldn't play third down

Pharrell in to Kanye is too similar (for Glastonbury, anyway. i'm aware it happened at Wireless)

Calvin Harris is busy all weekend

Ride are probably too big for The Park (especially subbing it)

Foals are too big for John Peel

Deadmau5 probably wouldn't even accept Other headliner, never mind John Peel

Foals are taking time off and only beginning to record their next album so highly unlikely they'll be playing.

AC/DC are almost certainly not playing either, as they can't/won't/aren't playing 2 nights in a row anywhere, so are hardly going to do it with Brian's voice in absolute ribbons for a televised Glastonbury set when they have to be in a different country the next/previous day.

Definitely not Radiohead. I think it could actually be Prince as Eavis was told he wasn't to speak of him, and so far he has been barely spoken of by any sort of media, so it might fall right for that booking. To be honest, when we get the headliners I think we'll look back and say "hang on, Eavis was talking shit". :P
