Linkin park and Blur announced tomorrow and third headliner later in the coming weeks/months? What do they usually do?

Usually headliners all come in the first announcement. The big shots of the latter announcement are often tent headliners that didn't make the first cut.

I'm not sure about Linkin Park though. They have a habit of skipping Belgium (only played twice ever, 2001 and 2011), including ignoring Pukkelpop twice earlier. And then they're only available on Thursday, while their big fans aren't sure if they even do 3 days in a row. Let's hope we can still cross them out.

So, how happy are we with this source? Not bothered about LP but would be happy with Blur. Never their biggest fan, bit they've got the tunes and put on a great show so I'd be there for sure.

Over the moon. I asked for hits and they delivered. Fantastic start. I don't even mind Limp Bizkit.

Gonna be a vintage PP.

Someone's posted a screen shot of a Facebook page that lists a load of Shelter type bands. No idea if it's authentic but it includes The Offspring, New Found Glory, All Time Low, Refused, Dropkick Murphys and Gogol Bordello.

Was expecting Limp Bizkit and Interpol to be announced and the Blur rumours have been gathering pace for the last few weeks. Lots of websites now saying LB and Blur are playing but not sure if they are just going on what Festileaks have said. The Interpol one is at least based on something official from the band themselves but no reason to doubt any of them won't turn up.

Wonder who else will 'slip out' tonight?!? ;)

Interestingly, Lollapalooza has their first announcement at 11am our time tomorrow. Strange time to have it as its 6am over there.

Link below to a 'leaked' poster. Not sure if its fake or not but lots of plausible names on it. Drake would have to be the favourite for a rap headliner if PP go down that route now.

I'm pretty sure that Refused won't be announced tomorrow because they are headlining Groezrock in May, so if they are booked they will be announced after the end of that festival like it happened with NOFX last year

I always go in with the mindset that I'll like one of the headliners, and have my fingers crossed for the rest of them. Last year it was only Outkast out of the 6 big names I even half liked. Its high time that they give me main stagers that blow me away. Blur is a great start.

If that Lolla poster is anywhere near the truth then I can see a fair proportion of the undercard coming to PKP.

I'm not convinced about Drake but if he does play then he will likely be a co-headliner, in the same vein as Libertines (if they play). Don't know any of his stuff either so would prefer it if they spent his sizable fee on someone else.

Interpol are down to play PKP on the same night they're doing Frequency. Don't think that's likely so the only free date they have over the weekend is Saturday.

Right, not having Limp Biz headlining. Just remembered they played at the first PKP I went to in 2010 and I'm 90% sure it was sunny when they were on. That means a daytime set and as far as I can tell, they've done nowt to warrant a push as a headline act.

Limp Bizkit are definitely not headlining, mate.

these bands eh? Don't even know when they're playing. Major Lazer have themselves playing Frequency on the 19th on their own website. Doesn't start till the 20th!
