Been a lean old year gig wise for me other than Glastonbury. I've also just been on the clashfinder to remind me who I saw this year so it couldn't have been that memorable. I'll go:

Janelle Monae - Manchester Academy

Chali 2na - Hoochie Coochie

TWOD - Pyramid

Deltron 3030 - West Holts

Gruff Rhys - Gateshead Sage

Heaton/Abbott - Acoustic (though I can barely remember it other than getting chokec up during Prettiest Eyes and complaining about the sound later on)

Arcade Fire - Marley Park

King Charles - Really small tent, crowd really up for it - T in the Park

Colonel Mustard and the Djon 5 - Wickerman

2manydjs - Kendal Calling. Perhaps because it never stopped raining all weekend and they were in a tent.

James - The Hydro

Kasabian - Grand Hall Kilmarnock. Tuesday night. Crazy scenes summed up when this happened .......

The Libertines - Barrowlands

Pearl Jam - Rock Werchter

DFA1979 - Glasgow Garage

Royal Blood - o2ABC2 Glasgow

The War on Drugs - Latitude

Foals - Rock Werchter

Biffy Clyro - Barrowlands

Both in mine too :)

That PJ set was just unbelievable and Foals smashed it in the Barn. Many other crackers at Werchter too this year

October i think. I had a spare as well as my tit of a mate got twatted and couldn't be arsed

It was just because I was curious about them playing Magna, most of the time the venue space is used for electronic music events (and there was a festival there once but it moved the year after probably because Rotherham is so shit ) and even then it is hardly used. Just nice to know that a decent band played in my town for once (not that I listen to them or anything :P )

Agreed, that's the third time I've been to werchter and by far the best, shame it clashes with glasto this year but I wouldn't be missing glasto for the world
