I'm always intrigiued to see the Coachella line up.

I've never been but I can't help feeling let down by it all the time. It's just a hipster paradise with mainstream headliners.

was kind of expecting U2 to headline this year, maybe not as strong as previous years but there's still some decent acts. Also I know they're not as big in America but I'm still surprised Kasabian aren't higher.

Definitely. Nothing much that jumps out, apart from Desaparecidos although that was probably expected really what with the talk of the new album.

I'm kinda surprised they're that high, they were right down the bottom near where The Cribs are only a year or two ago.

Tame Impala seem pretty high? Must be big in America.

Yeah Tame Impala being that high surprised me, big jump from where they were on the 2013 poster.

Looking over it there are bags and bags of acts that I'd be very pleased with but they don't really have any of the rarities and reunions the fest is famous for. So for my own tastes I shouldn't really be underwhelmed and I'd still go to it over most European things.

Got to hope Primavera has something in the bag now.

It's alright for me, there seems to be less rock/punk this year and a hell of a lot more dance/hip-hop but maybe that's just me being picky. It's still a decent lineup but as you say it's the reformations that usually make it and they haven't really got any.
