I agree, Kendrick would be superb. I really enjoyed outlast last year, but thought Snoop was a bit of a let down year before.

Really looking forward to Boy Better Know this year, and Skepta solo.

Probs depends where you were stood. We had some dickhead push right infront of us wearing an inflatable ring around him during snoop, it was already rammed, then couldn't move anywhere due to this prick in the inflatable. Was quite near the front for Outkast. Maybe we just had a good spot with a good group of people around us for it.

Rob mentioned in an article recently that he's have The Maccabees as headliners one day.

They've got a new record out next month and been around for nearly ten years now. Would be a similar choice to Foals on Friday last year.

Yeah I read The Maccabees thing too but just assumed he meant in the future given the article was about future headliners. Not sure they're quite ready to headline Bestival at the moment but I'd like to see them given a chance.

Could definitely see that happening next year before moving onto the likes of Glastonbury and V and stuff. He's big enough now.

It's not, he could do it. If the V's and T's are having him sub then subbing Bestival comfortable. I can see him doing a Pharrell in a way though and subbing Glastonbury next year.

Sam Smith certainly won't ever be a Sunday night headliner unless Rob gives up on the "Sunday night party" vibe. And the Maccabees are unlikely to be booked for this year, alongside Muse.

awh man i was so hoping it was Kylie The Jacksons as the sub would definitely suggest that it;s somebody a bit pop / dancey perhaps. still hoping for an all out pop act myself, even if the best option has been ruled out

Don't be to sad, she isn't as great as I thought she would be. Shows a bit meh tbh with you, pacing is all wrong and its not spectacular as you'd expect!

So Missy Elliott is the sunday headliner and according to efests Duran Duran are confirmed as a headliner too. So no muse then? Wonder why it fell through.

Missy is a brave choice of headliner, but one I'm very happy with. In fact, this'll be the first festival I've ever been to where I want to see all three main headliners.
