also, if they are at Besti and play Apocalypse Please as they seem to be doing at the moment i will lose my shit. rest of their setlists seem to be exactly what you'd expect unfortunately

I don't understand what's holding the announcement back now to be honest, Download was a month ago, Muse themselves obviously want it out there or Matt Bellamy wouldn't have said they were playing & RDB is doing his best to make it clear they're booked. Add to that the fact that they're not headlining & it's all very strange.

presumably there's a contract somewhere that says it can't be officially announced, for some reason or another (usually another show the band has booked).

Muse will have leaked it because they want a field full of fans, and for RdB it sells a few more tickets.

I'm guessing that RdB felt he could stretch what that contract (presumably) obliges him to do because Matt blabbed first and it was widely already publicised.

It could still be an exclusivity clause from Download - no other UK shows for x number of weeks either side of Download. And they don't want to hurt their reputation with Live Nation by breaking that.

Considering they've already released the day split poster for the main stage I don't think many more 'big' names will be getting announced - just your usual smaller names lower down the lineup
