I keep forgetting how rammed it gets on the Thursday, that's such a big lineup as well and it'll just be a mad crush, shame 

 

if the ordering stays the same as the latest announcement i'm hoping it'll thin out a bit for Dean Blunt (after Gorgon City but before Jamie xx) as his material and live show are erm... not exactly audience friendly

 

 

(yes those first ten minutes of static and darkness are supposed to be there)

 

 

but regardless i think i'll be hanging around outside the Big Top for a bit in order to get a space - have missed every other opportunity of seeing Jamie xx this year because i was planning on seeing him at Bestival, so i'd be pissed if i didn't get to see him. very silly to put him on the Thursday though - gonna draw a massive crowd

Apparently according to Seth Troxler's Facebook, The Martinez Brothers are also playing at Bestival. Possibly playing b2b with him on The Port? The don't have anything on their gig list for Friday, so could well be happening.

will give that a miss! i keep thinking, there'll be about half of their setlist that'll be awesome. they have some great songs. but then the other half i really couldn't care less about. gonna be a mix of me going absolutely mental and belting out every word, to just standing there waiting for the song to end

Shy FX has been working a lot with Chase & Status and David Rodigan as Rebel Sound recently. Could just be someone like one of the Hospital Records DJs etc.

Timings are out! Few clashes (end of Duran Duran with Tame Impala, Chem Bros end when Future Islands start etc) but for the most part it's worked out pretty well for me! Have noticed that a couple of acts I favourited beforehand don't seem to have times (namely Skrillex and Ben UFO). Does this mean they've dropped out or something?

Good to hear. Was worried that almost all of the stuff I was interested in on the Sunday had cancelled or something

There's a load of overlap on the Invaders stage on Friday so clearly a few wrong timings there too

A lot of the times have one act finishing and then one starting immediately after with no time for changeover, so either the sets are shorter than listed, or the times are a bit different (Tame Impala in to FKA twigs for example)
