Green Man Festival 2015

St Vicent/Owen Pallett clash is the only notable disappointment there. Probably go with Owen because I’ve only ever seen him in a support slot, and it’ll give me a headliner for each of the stages. But Annie seems like such a great way to end the festival.

Edit: Nevermind, read the line up wrong. Rest easy, there should be plenty of Trust Fund (though there is an extra act on there, so I dunno, should probably stop thinking about it now).

Television vs The Fall? Makes absolutely no sense to have two post-punk bands that started in the '70s playing at the same time.

St. Vincent vs Goat vs Owen Pallett and Father John Misty vs Courtney Barnett are brutal. Shouldn't Courtney be on the main stage?

Oh yeah, clashfinder:

St Vincent vs Goat vs Owen Pallett is a shame for me, but also a little bit of a no brainer. Owen is my main event, never seen him live before, seen St Vincent five times and Goat twice, but this is my brother's first fest, St Vincent is the only one he's really excited about, and he likes Goat quite a bit, he has no interest in Owen Pallett, and I don't know how willing he'll be to go off on his own.

Atomic Bomb vs Emmy The Great is painful, but I have to go with Emmy. Slowdive is the perfect alternative to SFA for me. There are some wonderful pairing there as well, like The Antlers into The Staves, and Viet Cong into Hookworms.

Green Man have hinted on Facebook that the Special Guest is "bewitchingly good", The Wytches then?

Also want to point out what a wonderful turn up for the books it is that Owen Pallett is not only headlining a stage, but closing the whole weekend! Worth sacrificing St Vincent's wonderful show for. I love it when your main event of the weekend is the last one, Owen may well be the main event of my entire summer.

Another Walled Garden question; do the headliners here usually get a shorter set than Mountain headliners? Missing St Vincent is a real bugger, if I can slip in 20 minutes before Owen Pallett it might placate me, especially if she rolls out Your Lips Are Red, Marrow or Cruel early on.

anyone find Hot Chips setlist at Glastonbury a bit weird ? some amazing songs missing especially a few off the new album and some really dull songs included?

Best set of the weekend for me, I really loved it. Only 2 Why Make Sense songs was unexpected, but it was a festival set so I suppose they wanted to go with some more tried and tested songs. Don't know what these "really dull songs" are though, surely Hot chip don't have any of those.
