Tickets bought for the Saturday, £20 for the Flaming Lips is an absolute bargain. Shame Amazing Snakeheads are Sunday.

Just brought a Saturday day ticket. Considering I think I paid over £40 to see The Flaming Lips in Brixton last year, I couldn't logically refuse it this time round for under twenty... does anyone have any idea how long headliners normally get? I'm currently hoping for a fairly long set from the Flips but assume it's unlikely.

Previous headliners have only ever got an hour I think. Lips might get longer though because of the stage production & stuff.

There is a campsite http://www.southsealeisurepark.com/accommodation.html but its a fair walk from where the festival actually is. I dunno if anyone on here used it last year, but I think I linked it just in case.

There's plenty of B&B/Hotel space, although I imagine it'll get booked up quite quickly.

I think i'll give this a go, Flaming Lips and Peter Hook for £18 is pretty much unmissable.

Bit of a bummer The Amazing Snakeheads have split as they were the redeeming feature on the Sunday.

I've got everything crossed Primal Scream are added to the Sunday but I'm not overly hopefull.

Dunno if its of any interest to you but we all stopped in the Ibis Budget on Fratton Way for this last year. The rooms can sleep 3 people so works out quite cheap. Its a bit basic but its just a place to kip. Was about a half hour walk to the festival site or 5 mins in a taxi.

I'm staying in the fratton ibis budget on the sat and sun nights, it sounds pretty basic but it's just somewhere to sleep, poop and shower to be fair
