Just brought a Saturday day ticket. Considering I think I paid over £40 to see The Flaming Lips in Brixton last year, I couldn't logically refuse it this time round for under twenty... does anyone have any idea how long headliners normally get? I'm currently hoping for a fairly long set from the Flips but assume it's unlikely. :(

Previous headliners have only ever got an hour I think. Lips might get longer though because of the stage production & stuff.

There is a campsite http://www.southsealeisurepark.com/accommodation.html but its a fair walk from where the festival actually is. I dunno if anyone on here used it last year, but I think I linked it just in case.

There's plenty of B&B/Hotel space, although I imagine it'll get booked up quite quickly.

Cheers Matt!

I think i'll give this a go, Flaming Lips and Peter Hook for £18 is pretty much unmissable.

Anyone know of hostels in Portsmouth? Or is it B&B/hotel prices?

Dunno if its of any interest to you but we all stopped in the Ibis Budget on Fratton Way for this last year. The rooms can sleep 3 people so works out quite cheap. Its a bit basic but its just a place to kip. Was about a half hour walk to the festival site or 5 mins in a taxi.

Cheers, that might be the best. I probably could drive back afterwards, but I'd far prefer not to.
