All main stage crowds were crap on that Friday at leeds in 2013, but I'd still say that they got twice the crowd that NIN got ( :'( ) and it really wasn't THAT far of off what Biffy got.

Interesting that. Wiki says it it was the only day that sold out at Leeds and to me Phoenix seemed a weak NME headliner. The NIN thing will probably in part explain the shift away from subs being long established bands that they seem to be making. Out of curiosity what as the SOAD crowd like in comparison?

Editors were great in 2013 but the crowd was dead so I just kind of chilled on the grass a bit back with a couple of mates. But on their tour that winter they absolutely smashed it out of the park, phenomenal. I miss that band.

Their Manchester Academy gig stands out by a mile over the other gigs I've been to, long may Editors continue

dude have you ever seen Shikari at a festival?

Yes, three times. Why do you ask? They might be the darlings at Reading but they couldn't even fill the front of 2nd stage at T one year. It was however, one of their best performances for me.

At Leeds Biffy seemed to have the smallest crowd in my opinion as I was in the front for Green Day but I left (wasn't feeling well that day) and I had to go quite far back and for Biffy me and mates managed to get quite close easily

Couldn't tell with the Biffy crowd because I was in the front section. However I was not far behind the second barrier, between there and the speaker stack to the right for green day and the crowd was very sparse and was nowhere near full I left about an 1hr10 into the set and it wasn't hard to get out.

Eminem on the other hand was rammed front to back I was near the food stalls right at the back and there was barely any space there. The whole field left to right seemed full also. However on the Eminem day most of the stages had finished early, whereas the other days most stages remained on until the end.

Eminem will outsell any rapper still going at this moment with ease. 90k went on his 1st Wembley gig within no time.

I remember walking past the Other stage at Glasto five minutes before Shikari came on and there was barely anyone waiting for them

Then again I have no idea what their crowd was like once they started

They had a dire crowd at T like mentioned. Was still a fun set mind you. Acted like they were in an arena.

Savages crowd was small

Savages and BSP crowds were small but their sets were brilliant. I'm glad I went as I'd never listened to either before.

Biffy was the smallest headline crowd, Eminem the biggest by far. Biffy was the only one worth hanging around for.

Yeah me too. I loved the Savages album so was always gonna see them, but knew nothing about BSP really other than Spotifying a couple of songs and deciding they were the best option. They were brilliant; loved the bear suits. Were good supporting Editors later that year, too.
