Lineup 2016

Was it the Killers or Kings of Leon that took a bit of time before they reached headline status?

It's a tedious link but Imagine Dragons do remind me a lot of bands like them both.. Maybe it's just because they are American? I don't know...

Is this a real post? The Killers, whose first album contained Mr Brightside and Somebody Told Me, and were all over every radio station, or Kings of Leon, who are very well known for completely selling out on their fourth album and becoming massive? Surely you know the answer to this.

Imagine Dragons are nothing like KOL were before Sex On Fire.

They are a little bit like The Killers, but The Killers subheadlined the festival after one album and headlined Glastonbury after their second album.

Edit: I sound like a c**t here but low it.

On a festival like Slam Dunk, they'd be higher, especially after this new album, Tonight Alive have more of a mainstream appeal than TSSF which is why they'd be higher at Leeds

Well then surely they'd put the band with more mainstream appeal higher to attract more fans? Plus Tonight Alive will also have another album out by next Slam Dunk, and I think their recent tours have been bigger than The Story So Far's

They headlined on the back of one album. Hadn't even played any arenas up to that point if memory serves me right. Imagine Dragons have two successful albums and a successful arena tour behind them. You fancy explaining to me how they have no credibility with an argument that can't be shot down in a single sentence?

TSSF's next tour will be 1k - 2k cap venues, the people who go to slam dunk love pop punk and therefore TSSF are one of the biggest bands in the genre whereas at Leeds its more of a general rock crowd so therefore Tonight Alive have more draw. Its hard to explain but yeah they'd deffo be higher imo

Not credible enough is just a really stupid argument. On all sorts of levels.

Given that the band you chose to compare them to were the fucking Strokes take into account what people mean by credibility

So they're too new, not credible enough, sales have 'slowed down' and they haven't headlined a major US festival yet. This is clear and coherent reasoning...

please don't tar all of us with the one you use on gaz

It's clear that all you're saying here is "I don't like them". You're fooling absolutely nobody.

Your opinion seems to be a band you like more should be higher, much like your Neck Deep being bigger than Lonely the Brave argument that everybody disagreed with you on.
