So Eminem can't play as his lyrics wouldn't suit Glastonbury but Kanye can have lyrics like that and it's fine?, that's a little bit ridiculous! Does he actually sing them though or have it played over a back tracking and actual voice is too disturbing!

Still on Blur and Foo's for next year, the 3rd I'm not sure, I just have a feeling it won't be Flo. They'll work around Foo's playing at Glasto I feel. Glasto won't care obviously if they are at Reading or not. I'm edging closer to going this year and those two and another solid one would tempt me with next.

Foos are all but confirmed for Glastonbury so they won't be at Reading and Leeds.

 

Blur, Muse and then one of The Black Keys, Florence And The Machine or Arcade Fire are who my money is (not literally) on.

While it wouldn't be the death of the festival oit would be pretty weak.

Kanye while definitely is a headliner is controversial at best, Florence is a good headliner but not particularly strong, not at the same level as Foo Fighters, Metallica, Green Day, Attic Monkeys etc. Foals are a weak headliner but an okay sub.

Plus it wouldn't look good for the festival to have two out of three of the last years Glastonbury headliners

Hmm I wouldn't be so quick to say the Foo Fighters are a nail on for Glastonbury, and I wouldn't be so quick to predict three headliners which are doing stuff right now.

 

Reading 2016 is over a year and a month away. In that time period a band could either propel and, become a headliner, or a band that's been away for a while could come back with a new album and a tour

I'd say foals are a weak sub at the moment.Of course the new album could change that. I just think peoples expectations have been lowered because of austerity bookings becoming commonplace at UK festivals.

There is the point though that in this day, you can't make something too weak and fuck it up too much. I personally don't think Kanye will be booked for next, also having doubts over Flo. I do think Reading will go for one of Glasto's headers as they usually do but as the original set Foo's were one of them and the clear one they'd have gone for.
