Caught a bit of Wonka on swu from the other day, mentions they're doing "two stages a week up until April" when taking about lineups. so more of those posters hopefully? maybe a proper look at Lions Gate/Hydro?
Not sure when that's meant to start though, don't districts usually kickoff in March?
Well, it was a pioneering concept... reinforced steel beds and super sized steaks for obese guests. It's changed too much round here - now we're all into crushed avo on toast, beach yoga and cold water swimming.
I think the issue isn't whether they are DJs or not, rather it's whether they are live acts and will know them? In exploring the undercard I've found quite a lot of stuff I quite like, but lots of people aren't invested in Sziget the way we all are.
So, if you just fancy a visit to a festival in Europe this year, will you take the time to explore the undercard of each one or will you just chose the festival whose line up has the most names you recognise? I suspect, for a lot of people, it'll be the latter.
Really liking the new Squid album! Still as interesting, experimental and unusual as always. Like the krautrocky sound and the new orchestral tinge that the album's adopted. They're becoming a post-punk staple now of the 2020s, yet to do a bad album. Will definitely be listening to this one for a while
