Few acts missing this year I'm surprised about to be honest - probably because they are at V festival

Don't think all of them will be at V.. But I'm kinda surprised

I know, but I'm surprised that R/L haven't got more to offer than V, might not be surprising to everyone but until Lucky killed the dream I thought they looked good for R/L

I would say no Alt-J at R/L makes the other stage headline slot look even more nailed on

V probably offer as much money as R&L. Cheaper to run perhaps too so maybe even more money on offer.

Only thing that holds back V is the rumoured chavvy culture, Kings Of Leon, lack of BBC interest, The Killers, TOWIE & Kasabian.

It's happened before, bands being slotted in late. Weren't Hadouken! announced for 5th the other year before being pushed down?

Plus the line-up announcement is surprisingly early this year, maybe we'll get another around the time we usually get it.

There are gaps on the poster, in fairness, but I think at least Hozier and Courteeners are safe bets for V. Alt-J played Reading twice on their last album so not a total shock if they look to have opted for V this time. Or they could of course yet be England exclusives at Latitude.

Wheezer, Yellowcard, Enter Shikari (although understandable), Scroobius Pip, Of Monsters & men, Fatherson, Four Year Strong, Gaslight Anthem and Jack U (Skrillex & Diplo).

I think at least a couple of these are quite likely to be announced in the next few months.

In the unlikely scenario Prodigy did play on the Friday it also seems as though they would clash with Limp Bizkit, which would definitely be quite a tricky decision for the fans of heavier music. Making it even more unlikely.

Last time The Prodigy played they played after Maximo Park and before Arctic Monkeys and they were boring as hell so I don't think it's out of the question, it's not like kendrick lamar goes well into libertines...
