Travelling to v festival (Chelmsford) ?

My friends and I are planning to go to v festival this year, we would be flying in to stansted airport and I was wondering what the best way to travel to the park would be ? I've heard about the big green coach that travels there but what would be the closest pick up point to stansted airport? Or would we be better off getting the bus to Chelmsford then the shuttle bus to the park?

Not sure if there is a bus from Stansted to Chelmsford...you could get the train from stansted to London Liverpool Street and then another train from Liverpool Street to Chelmsford.

If there are a few of you I reckon getting a taxi from Stansted to the festival site might be your best bet. Agree price before you get in should be no more than £70 or £80 so not bad shared between you.

Thanks! I googled it and it said there was a bus (X30) from Stansted to southend via Chelmsford ?

Oh yes looks like you are right. Get that to Chelmsford and pick up the shuttle bus to the site then. If there is like 4 of you a taxi could still be a decent option as you get taken right to the site. It's two or three miles from the station to the site.

There is definately a bus that runs from Stansted airport to Chelmsford then the shuttle to the park leaves frombehind the bus station - easy journey
