Good audio interface

Can anyone recommenced a good usb audio interface to connect my mixer to my laptop? I don't want to be paying loads of money as I will not be using it all the time. It would just be nice to rip some of my old vinyl which is just sat there gathering dust or to do the occasional mix.

My mixer is a rane ttm56.

For your low-use requirements and cost focus I can't see a reason to go above the Behringer UCA222.

It comes with Audacity (actually as a download from Behringer) so yeah, its "compatible" with it. Also comes with a code for Tracktion 4 DAW.

I have heard that some laptops can give a background whine with USB audio interfaces, that's actually from the main power. If it's the case with you, and it might not be, just unplug and run on battery during recording.
