It could be absolutely anyone TBH......theres so many dance acts now that they don't even have to be touring...look at the past years for instance! But i would expect it could be any of the following:

J.E.S.u.S. - would be my top pick seeing as the saturday is pretty housey already
Diplo
2manydjs

Annie Mac
Sigma
Example
Steve Aoki
Duke Dumont

Above & Beyond

Clean Bandit

Mark Ronson (DJ set)

Axwell n Ingrosso

Could be anyone of those

above and beyond would never be booked for reading

clean bandit is a good shout, despite being woeful in every sense

Robson any other year would be a good call, but could see him coming back next year with his band...maybe a DJ set seeing as he has dj gigs booked up now and they're not exactly massive shows

A&I - way too big, and probably wouldn't get booked either way

Diplo, Sigma or Duke Dumont

Steve Aoki would be NME if he did it, way too big for dance stage

Aoki i think would be the right size, he'd pull a bigger crowd at Creamfields & more dance orientated festivals, but so would the likes of Dillon Francis, and Deadmau5/Rebel Sound would be headlining their Main Stage etc.

Yeah I think the likes of Steve Aoki, Mark Ronson, Axwell /\ Ingrosso etc. are too big for the slot...

Duke Dumont would be my bet, could also see an Example + DJ Wire set too perhaps?

Example playing the dance tent? Surely he's to big for that kind of slot? I doubt he'd be booked for R+L anyway

Example + Wire would be the ideal candidate, but also incredibly fucking boring. with his band he'd be too big, but with Dj Wire, it would suit him to the ground

DJing & mixing aside......when i saw him in Ibiza a few years ago, i thought he was great....good songs and good atmosphere with a few party tricks (boat, champagne & of course, cake!)

Im a DJ myself, but as someone who loves the atmosphere of a live show, Aoki brings it. Its so much more fun being a part of it or having a spectacle to watch than some guy in a booth, unless its a particular guy or act.

Yes, watching that play button get pressed, random headphone wearings and hand waving with a fancy light show is where it's at man.

haha im not saying its technically the most pleasing thing, but when you go see awoke you don't really go to see that, its more just to hear some good music in a fun atmosphere, almost like going to a shitty student night because its just a bit of fun.

Im not being an advocate of his in any way, id much rather see 2manydjs, A Skillz, Boys Noize, Diplo...even Skrillex.......but hey, if you go see aoki and go in thinking 'well ill see what he's like and just not thinking about the obvious skill, but more the showmanship" you can have a bit more fun.

I wasn't impressed with Eminem's 'miming' a few years ago, but still enjoyed the visual show of it all

Friendly Fires are doing a DJ set as a somerley tea party warm up gig. Potential?

Would LOVE FF to headline that, but probably still too big...havnt done much in recent times but can see them headlining NME off the back of their next album realistically
