Bringing alcohol in at the entrance

Hi I'm 17 and im wondering are you allowed to bring your own drinks to the festival. It's my first festival! It saves me fucking around trying to get drinks without ID and I was wondering with being underage will they take it ect??

P.s - I'm going with only me and a friend of mine so if anyone would like us to hook up with your groups it would be a pleasure as it would make the weekend a lot more entertaining! (I'm staying the weekend)

you can bring as much as you want and you won't get ID'd on entrance. just make sure its not in a glass bottle as it will be confiscated

No glass at all. Last year my mate had a £60 bottle of aftershave taken away.

As for being 17, as long as you don't look ridiculously young then you are very likely to get in just fine.

i went last year being 17, I took a suitcase of beer (not recommended at all!) they let my girlfriend and friend through no questions asked then stopped me. Gave him my ID, which said I was 17...thought he would just glance at it and let me through. Anyway, guy looked at it, laughed, said "how old are you really" and let me through anyway. You'll be fine!

it depends who you get really, one of our friends got stopped got asked if he had ID, said no and the steward binned all his drink. Annoying thing was friend was actually over 18 but his girlfriend had walked ahead with his wallet which had his ID

I got asked for ID one year at the door, I think it was the first year it was 3 days, and the security was a little tighter(whether this was just at my time of entrance or not I don't know) and I wasn't 18 and didn't have ID, someone else just carried my booze through and their was no issue
