Everyone who's got the early bird, what time are you planning to get to Reading? My train's supposed to get there at around 11:50, I know this is a little early, but they never open the gates at the times they say on the website, last year we got in at around 3PM I think.

They open the campsites whenever they're done setting stuff up. From experience it's normally somewhere between 1 and 3ish. If you're getting there around 11:50, I'd get some breakfast en route and enjoy one last non-burger-van meal!

I personally think we should all get so smashed that won't think twice about getting a symbol tatooed on us!

Edit: We need to think of a good symbol though, maybe something like a skull or something simple  ;)

To make everyone really easy to spot, probably best to get the skull tattooed in the facial region (Y)

hahaha, I was jesting about the skull but I reckon something simple would be pretty sweet

Edit: and not on the face either ;)

Anyone else ever travelled in by car before? How bad is it trying to get in and out of the car park? Will be arriving on Wednesday.

Getting in - not too bad (I'd guess it'll take half an hour to get through the traffic but it varies). Getting out on Monday morning? Absolute hell. Last time I drove it took a couple of hours to reach the motorway. If you leave early on Monday it wont be so bad.

So pumped for reading now I've found this group! The forecast is getting progressively better now as well, mild & cloudy with a 'light' rain on Thurs and Sunday , I can handle rain as long as it's not like the downpour we had at download this year, can't be doing with another flooded tent
