anyone that missed it, I seriously recommend what was suggested with check4change.

I had to install firefox as a browser and then check4change is a free add-on that you can custom refresh so that it checks every 'x' number of seconds so you don't have to keep pressing confirm when you manually refresh.

I set it to 5 seconds and then when it worked today, my computer started singing David Bowie "ch-ch-ch-changes" so was able to jump on and get mine.

Also grabbed 2 extra for the next 2 people on Bonedaddy's list.

Do the festival goers, no one wants to be in a tent! ;-)

I happened to try as a one off after all day yesterday of pressing F5 and got one, so if there's loads of people with change checkers, I think me getting one was a miracle!

Hi All

As I got my ticket via Firefox with Check4Change, I'm happy to keep monitoring it (when I can), and if it comes up, I'll mention it on here. I'm afraid I won't be able to purchase for anybody. The two extra I did purchase yesterday I've discussed with Bonedaddy so he will allocate as planned.

I can even e-mail directly if anybody wants to know if tickets become available, just let me know.

The window of opportunity yesterday when I got my campervan field tickets was small. At one point I could have gotten 10 tickets at once (but couldn't stretch that far financially), but within ten minutes this had gone down to 1 ticket, then none, so if I post on here or email, recipients would have to be quick.

Got myself an east camper ticket using check4change. They were back on twice in the last couple of hours so would def advise to get it installed and leave running whilst at work.

So I no longer need a ticket.

Hi

Seems to be lot of people having luck with Check4Change.

Just in case people were unaware of the best way to use it, you need to highlight the text you want to monitor, e.g highlight 'Sold Out'

Then right click on it, choose Check4Change, then choose Custom.

If you get this message :

"This tab contains POST data. Press OK to resend this data every refresh.

This is usually the right thing to do, unless you have just performed an action you do not wish to repeat (such as an online purchase)."

Choose OK.

Then adjust the settings to choose time of checking, e.g. automatic check every 20 seconds.

Choose all notifications except 'Log changes to log file'.

This should give you a fair chance to see or hear the notifications.

Awesome thanks mate, which site do you reckon is best to check for change? you can't get through to the actual sales one without entering reg details can you so could it still check for change on it? (Does this make sense?)

You have to be on the campervan page to use the Check4Change for the purposes we are talking i.e. to get notification of when the ticket becomes available, so you have to enter your reg details first to get on the campervan ticket page.

To stop you having to enter your registration number every time the page refreshed, you have to press OK on this message when you start Check4change,

I used Check4Change aswell. It's worth quickly installing Firefox just for this purpose. Make sure you have the sound alerts running continuously if it detects a change. Highlight sold out and you'll love Bowie even more when his voice starts singing ch ch ch ch changes!
