On an interesting note for future Glastonbury sales. Two different sets of friends were very successful last year in October. One was in Spain and got through straight away. The other was in Amsterdam and managed to get through twice, successfully. They were both UK residents too, on holiday at the time. I tried a VPN in the resales, didn't bring me much luck. I think I will get my self to Amsterdam this year for GA in October.

Interesting. We were in Thailand when we got our tickets back in October. Didn't exactly get through straight away but got through none the less.

Not the main sale, but I was in Prague for the resale in April using both wifi and data. No luck.

The resale was insane, I've had one success with it years ago and that was when they were selling for an hour!!! I don't remember exactly how long this year, but it was around 15mins. The other option is just going straight for hospitality when the red button is hit in October, double the cost, but kind of worth it, if you get them in October.

Well we're in a different time zone here in Europe of course, so we can book the tickets an hour earlier!

But seriously, while we've been very lucky in the April coach resale this year and in the October coach sale for Glasto15, we had been trying (on multiple computers, from multiple locations) for three years before then and not gotten anywhere. So I'm not sure being outside the UK really improves your chances.

Managed to get through easily over the mobile network whilst in Austria in 2013, and until a few years ago was always pretty successful from Ireland. No extra benefit that I've seen from only being as far away as Ireland anymore though.

What do you mean by hospitality?  Did your page have a special button?

Maybe they allocate tickets to various countries, to give everyone around the world a chance? Maybe, this could be a ridiculous notion though.

yes. have to be over seperate ip's. I see photos people with 3 or four devices set up in the same room. If they are all on the same network, all you are doing is hitting refresh more.

Well, when the GA happens, instead of trying on the Glastonbury site, go to the sites that sell hospitality tickets. There are a few. My friends did this last year.

I didn't think there was a site for hospitality tickets, you have to apply for them.
