Don't think they have moved the camera, just cropped the viewable area and set a limit on the zoom level. Probably due to privacy agreements etc...

Still miles better than previous years.

Good point. Found the external link easier to use, bigger view as well although the zoom is disabled using the external link for some reason:

Not sure, I've been trying to figure it out since you mentioned it but the best i can come up with is a top view of some long drops haha.

Right, who's got the skills to make a windows desktop gadget for the new webcam? I've still got the old one which is just showing a night time image from 27th September last year.

Yeah, my desktop gadget is still blank too - it would probably need completely overhauling for the new shots though and Windows Gadgets are now gone from Win 8 and 10.

Its great but its also adjusted too far over to the right missing out the many features and details of the East of the site, instead showing loads of the Tor (which is nice too of course).

There is a timelapse option at the foot of the screen. There is also a dialog to download the whole timelapse to date!

On my view, along the foot of the screen I have E-Card, Hot Spots, Rotation, Archive, Time Lapse and Best Shots available as options, along with the time showing for the last snapshot and some sliders for moving forward / back in time... Running on IE9, Flash 13...

Looks like they are only showing in IE9. Probably not supposed to be, best not shout about it.....
