2/10. V poor. Must try harder.

I'm not joking. It will be noisy but your brain would get used to it and sleep through it, that is what I was worried about. I will come up with a cunning plan though.

Stash your money in your holdall/bag - then take out what you want to spend each day. Safest way is to wear shorts with zips underneath other shorts/jeans - depends on what you wear and how tight they are. Always use your front pockets regardless. Would suggest loose money rather than a wallet also - harder to steal.

I don't know anyone who has slept through all morning and into the afternoon - it's too noisy with people talking/singing/shouting/walking about. I'm seen people get up and get wrecked in the morning and waste most of their day sleeping, though.

Totally recommend Be Chilled for anyone that hasn't been before. Chilled can in the morning/early afternoon are a godsend if its warm and you don't have too bad a walk of death since your lighter on drink.

You do get knackered Ciaran but you kind of forget about it because your having such a good time.

How sore do your feet get? Any gig ive been to i feel dead after and my job kills me too .. any tips how to survive?

Aching feet are part of the deal I'm afraid. All you can do is get sensible footwear that is comfortable. Wear them lots before you go. Make sure your boots whatever is broken in. Go for a few walks and wear them around teh house. I have some high leg walking boots instead of wellies that are dead comfy but they gave me blisters on my heels initially. I had to wear 2 pairs of socks, a really thin pair underneath to combat this. If you do get blisters compeed plasters are amazing. For nice days teh likes of converse seem comfy enough but they have no cushioning underfoot and you'll know about this if you are on your feet all day. Some approach shoes or similar are great and will deal with most downpours and showers but not 2012-esque biblical monsoons. Get off your feet when you can and lie down and raise them if possible. Finally I know people that use these foot balm sprays at the end of the day to sooth them. Fuck that, I don't even take my socks off all weekend and quite often just lie where I fall so sometimes my boots don't make it off either. Mostly though, beer is your friend.
