car park and checks

this is my situation, im 17 and im driving to reading this year, staying in the white car park. i was just wondering, are they going to check my car on the way in for alcohol? or will i able to just drive through without any checks?

They won't check and even if they did they wouldn't do anything, don't worry

you shouldn't be worried about your car being searched but taking it through the gates to the actual festival on foot. There is another gate you have to go through on foot with everything before you can get into the festival. ask someone to take it through for you, theres plenty of kind people about

Yeah last year I saw security trying to take away an underage guys drink so I asked the security if I could take it through for him and they were fine with it!

Driving in is fine, just make sure to ask someone to carry it through the gates for you! I've seen it a number of times where underage people have been carrying alcohol and then had it confiscated :-(
