Maybe because people have already paid for tickets and transport and hotel ?????? Maybe because it's all arranged and we were all looking forward to see them play next week, anyone can replace Glasto, not a big deal..other acts will be playing as well. Wembley it's just the Foo Fighters and a couple of support acts so id say it's pretty damn important...lol correct me if I'm wrong

Hope they make it for you dude

Because it's their own gigs and their fans will have got hotels, travel, etc booked that probably can't be refunded in most cases. Unlike glastonbury where we were all going before the Foo's were announced.

Their own gigs are their bread and butter, their own fans. Glastonbury is just a festival, albeit a high profile one that they would love to still play. But they won't cancel Wembley but still play Glastonbury. And a week won't make a great deal of difference with a broken leg.

Looks to me like they've read the efest 'itll take more than a broken leg' article and fleshed it out with some extra speculation. It doesn't say anything new. Just that glasto are hopeful

Exactly what I thought. Adds nothing, which to be fair, nor did the eFests article (although that's more the festival's fault than eFests)

They will have to decide on Wembley by tuesday at the latest i reckon. Just for time to set up the stage!

For what its worth, I think he will go throught with it. The fact he is on crutches rather than a wheelchair, and the amount of money they would lose by not doing the dates (as in screwing up next years uk summer gigs) as well as not letting down an understanding) fanbase will make them suck it up and play the shows

I think they'd go ahead with the stage build even if not confirmed by Thursday....Only fair to let people know at least 24 hours if it's not going ahead though.

That said I'm certain that Glastonbury...if not Wembley...will be a go-er.
