pink_triangle
I think we need to see what a Klopp Liverpool looks like when he is allowed to bring in his own players. Liverpools squad isn't terrible, but its got a 5th/6th look about it and that's probably around where they will finish. If the whole squad was transfer listed, very few players would be moving upwards.

Even the decent players might not fit with what he wants to do, so essentially, needs to start from scratch. There really isn't any judgment to be made at the moment. If he fails when he's built his own side, then start talking about pressure.

eFestivals
there's a growing idea that Moaniho is off to OT in the near future. And thinking about it, while I reckon we can all see why he wasn't suitable to follow fergie, now that Utd is nothing like the club fergie left I'm not sure much of that applies or means very much. Utd are now just another club who are greedy for success.

United have always been greedy for success, it's just they never got it post sir matt and pre fergie. They were quite regularly breaking transfer records. The likes of Robson, pallister and Keane spring to mind. No question United players are doing the same as Chelsea players. Football players are a bloody disgrace Edited December 21, 2015 by thetime

Football players are a bloody disgrace I'm not saying they've not been a club greedy for success, I'm saying they liked to believe themselves as something more than that, somehow something better. For a manager to follow fergie I get completely why they might not have wanted Moaniho, but I don't think that sort of thinking applies any more. I heard somewhere that one of the main opposition within the club to Ferguson was Bobby Charlton, but apparently his influence in the club has now waned. TheGayTent
Yesterday's performance in South Wales was uninspiring...and that's an understatement. So the negatives - without a win in 7 games and haven't scored since November. And the positives - 8th in the table, haven't lost in 4 games conceding only once, despite missing at least 6 first team players. Get some of those first team players back and 2016 should look pretty rosy.
Gucci Piggy
What are people thinking for tonight's game, then? I'm going for a 1-1 but I haven't seen whether Kompany or Aguero are back. Huge game imo. Whoever wins (if either of them do win) will take forward a lot of confidence which will count for a lot. Obviously I'm hoping Arsenal can sneak a win and put together a good run with the injured players returning. Arsenal will be kicking themselves at the moment. Their run leading up to tonight's game should have allowed them to build a decent lead over City, but they've dropped some silly points. eFestivals
that was a great game last night, with three crackin' goals. And I still reckon that Arsenal will grab the title ... if Leicester fuck up, anyway.

Its not like Leicester have a significant lead.

Masters of it! Yeah but usually they have competition from decent enough teams. Arsenal have been destroyed with injuries this season to a level that they should be out of the top 4 but the other teams fuck up so often that they still are only 2 points off the top and its Leicester they are chasing..............great chance for them this year

I still think if City can keep Aguero, Silva and Kompany fit (big ask) they'll win it. Sanchez coming back for Arsenal will be a huge boost, so if City do get injuries Arsenal can definitely give it a go.
Gucci Piggy
Mesut Özil 3/4 of the way to the assist record after less than half the season. Incredible how much he was slagged off in the last couple of seasons. Anyway, huge win and very happy. If either Arsenal or (somehow) Leicester win the title I'll be ecstatic. If Pep does end up at City (inevitable ain't it?) then Arsenal won't have a chance like this for a while. Need to make the most of it. luckysalt
Media saying Chelsea have decided on Mancini for next manager and have already approached him. I always liked him at City and think he got a rough treatment from the board, the fans certainly didn't want him to go. Classy guy.
