Tho Wenger doesn't strike me as the sort of geezer who would, right now, have already made a decision to leave the end of the end of the season (unless perhaps his missus has got at him). I reckon if/when he makes that decision it'll be done very quickly.... tho if Arsenal win the league this year, I wouldn't be too surprised if he decided to quit as it sort of takes things full-circle with him having managed the club thru the stadium move. Also, those words of Pep's read to me as "not London", tho perhaps that's me reading too much into the "experience a new city" bit. Football is Wenger's life. He'll be there until he can't do it anymore. Certainly won't be gone at the end of the season.

But you never know, he might surprise us, and if he was going to do that, doing it after winning the league this year would probably be as good a time as any. Pep is going somewhere, that much we know.
pink_triangle
Do people think pep will join the team with the 4th biggest budget in the league? It's clear he is going to city.

I wonder could Van Gaal be persuaded to take an early retirement package!
GlastoSimon
I'm inclined to think it isn't City, actually. Guardiola clearly has something lined up, and there's only one club who are in that position to guarantee a job to someone come May. Imagine City winning the league, LC, FA Cup and CL (I still think the former two will happen) and then sacking Pellegrini?! It'd be mental. Likewise, imagine in principle agreeing a deal with Guardiola and then telling him 'no thanks'. Of course Pellegrini could retire. In which case take it all back But assuming no changes unless they sack him I think he's off to Chelsea. The timing of the two announcements (Mourinho and Pep) makes sense as well. Sacking Pellegrini even if he does win trophies isn't out of the question, the belief that Guardiola could bring more consistency and dominance than Pellegrini has been able to offer is likely to be more important than any trophies won this season. I'd imagine that they see winning trophies as a right rather than an achievement.

Kinda makes me want Man City to win a load this year, just to show them up as idiots if/when a move does happen. Although if Guardiola works out I suppose they won't mind

eFestivals
Accoring to this:- http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/european/cristiano-ronaldo-is-worth-less-than-eden-hazard-but-lionel-messi-still-leads-the-way-study-finds-a6799021.html Coutinho is the world's 13th most valuable player. Not sure about that, but it's a great bit of business by Liverpool if his valuation of £53.57m is right. And Sterling is supposedly worth an extra £17M since his transfer. It's can't be all wrong tho, cos Rooney doesn't make the top 100.

Martial worth nearly twice what he was when Utd signed him? Suarez worth relatively fuck all too. Considering hes been one of the best players in the worlds for the last 5 years. Crazy list. Isn't the quoted £57.10m just-about spot on with what you paid for him? I'm sure all the reports said you were paying £58M. I've just read wiki, and yep, that's what you're paying for him if he's actually something like the player you're hoping. So there's nothing interesting in his quoted price. Granted I don't know what they are but is the article just what they're worth in transfer fees?* Not sure what algorithm these guys are using. *Doesn't seem like we ever hear the full story on transfer fees for anyone.
