For fair play reasons they should award Bournemouth a point and deduct 2 from Liverpool hohoho.

The drama when Liverpool win the league by a point and Bournemouth relegated by a point.

then every other decision in every other game should be open to review and points awarded differently if a throw-in is wrongly given - because any single incident is able to alter the course of any game. ;)

It is what it is, and unless a result is found to be from bribery/corruption, games decided on inevitable reffing errors should stand exactly as they've been decided on the pitch.

On to serious matters, am I the only one who finds the phrase "we go again" very annoying!

Is it posible to come up with a more pointless catchphrase? We go again tomorrow night, and win, lose or draw, we go again for the next game! The alternartive would be not going again I suppose. But "we don't go again" doesn't work.

I blame Leagueless for it. He said it originally during his we-nearly-won-the-league meltdown.

Nah. Utd fans. Bitters.

Yeah, finishing in second place a couple of times in a quarter of a century really makes other clubs fans bitter! Especially a club who have won the league 13 times in the same period.

It'll be a while before Utd win another though at this rate in fairness. Crying out for a striker.

Looking forard to tomorrow night. Think Benteke could do some damage.

Agreed. Without a DM Rodgers is in trouble. That defence is poorly organised.

from a preview I read on the beeb last night it sounds like Hendo is out with injury and Can will play in his place.

I'd rather it was Milner who was injured (as Hendo creates more from the middle) but I reckon it'll still be a better team with Can on the pitch.

Yep looks good doesn't he!

:(

One hell of an impressive PL debut. Looks as if he will have no issues with the pace of the game

Was really hoping him to be a flop and see Moany hole Maureen cry for a few more weeks dropping points, but now he shits on about how everyone and everything conspires against him and his team yet they still win in the face of such adversity. The guy spouts utter cock (worse than Rodgers Brentisms IMO) and the more pain he feels this season the more I will enjoy it.................but yep, unfortunately it looks as if Pedro will be a good source of pain relief for Jose et al...............

Terry's red card yesterday ... anyone think he'll now have trouble getting back in the team?

That's at least twice already this season he';s been shown to have lost that extra half-yard of pace he used to have that made him so good. Without that bit of pace what's the point of him?

He will need to get world class veteran positional senses or yeah, he may struggle to play as often. There are examples of elder CBs with reduced pace who manage to maintain a high level of performance due to sublime positional sense and organisational skills and it helps to have a pacy partner in crime you can bark at

That's is one of the reasons Chelsea want stones so much.

His contract is up end of the year. He will do a lampard/Gerrard and will be at Mls I reckon.

He never had pace really. Great defender with play ahead of him and its nearly a cliche at this point, but, once the play goes behind him he really struggles. Its why he was subbed last week and why he got sent off yesterday. And why Germany beat England in the 2010 World Cup you could argue. I remember Joachim Low saying similar before the game. Think 3 of the goals came from the ball being played in behind him.
